The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The Tesla EV chargers were great assets. Did not to know there were chargers but was pleasantly surprised that they were available. The hotel was modern looking and rooms were equipped with plenty of outlets and USB ports for charging electronics. The free breakfast was decent. It was good that there was free WiFi.

There was mould around the caulking of the bathtub and the elevator smells old and musty. One elevator smelled like urine.

A clean, comfortable, affordable hotel - will book a future stay!

I travel to Terre Haute frequently to visit family and was impressed during my first stay at La Quinta - a new, clean, and comfortable hotel. The air conditioning rattled a bit in my first room and the attentive staff addressed my issue immediately by offering to send someone to take a look or switch rooms. The breakfast included everything I expected (and was rather crowded on my first morning with a traveling youth sports team). Coffee and water were available all day in the lobbby. The surprise for the price was the fitness center, which included several cardio machines, a pulley-weight machines, some dumbbells, and mats.

Nice hotel if you like memory foam mattress.

Clean, professional staff, very good breakfast, great service. I really wanted to like the property.

I don’t sleep well on memory foam mattress. I sweat some and ended up laying in a pool of sweat several times a night. So basically didn’t get good sleep either night we stayed. If I’d known ahead, I’d have stayed somewhere else. Getting a good night’s sleep is most important feature for a hotel. Too bad since everything else was excellent. Guess I’ve now got a new question to ask prior to making reservations.

The breakfast was the only thing.

I booked through a 3rd party, and I also got booked from the hotel, so I got double charged. When I reached out to the hotel, I had yet to hear from them . All our bathrooms had plumbing or shower issues. This place is disgusting, and they have no elevators.

The facility was clean, was close to everything we needed, and friendly staff. We have made several trips down here because my daughter is starting college here, and this is the best facility we have stayed at so far.

We have stayed at La Quinta every time we traveled from PA to MO and liked the location.

The breakfast was excellent. There were plenty of towels in bathroom. Very convenient to have the containers of body soap, conditioner, shampoo, and lotion in dispensers.

Room was on the third floor and there was a lot of noise from the room above. TV was not working and staff member had to reset. He was very efficient and friendly. Used a towel in tub as it was slick and husband has stroke limitations. A $50 additional charge was billed to be refunded upon no damages. Still waiting to have this charge reimbursed.

Great staff, clean hotel, loved our stay

We drove 13 hours to get to this hotel. We have 6 kids that wanted to go in the pool so bad. We got there at 8pm and the pool closes at 9pm. Without even asking if they could keep it open longer the guy at the front said he’d leave it open longer so they could enjoy it some. Check in was extremely easy and quick. Room was clean and perfect for our family. Loved the pressure and size of the shower. Breakfast was hot buffet breakfast. Kids loved the waffle and pancake makers. Our stay was perfect .

Price gauge

Booked one year in advance on booking.com. Checked in and was charged double the rate I reserved for. Manager told me they don’t have to honor third party vendor. Wyndham customer service told me basically franchise can do what they want so they couldn’t help me either. Special event I was there for meant local hotels were all booked. I had to either pay double or have nowhere for my family (including four senior citizens) to sleep.

Tea Drinkers- cookie eaters

Shower pressure a little low. Tea drinkers like clean hot water. Not hot water in a container that once also contained coffee. These containers are NOT interchangeable The front desk clerk at check in last night was not friendly or welcoming and didn't have warm cookies. We had them a week ago when passing thru. We felt like he didn't want to make them. We ever asked.

Staff did an excellent job with the exception of Housekeeping the was dirty with mold in the bathroom. I appeared that the cleaning staff either didn’t care or they were rushed. Either way the room was NOT cleaned to the level I’d of expected from La Quinta!

Bed bugs were present and I did not feel safe staying.

The man that checked us in the first night was very nice.

We found bed bugs in our room and checked out after only being there a few hours. I tried unsuccessfully to speak with the manager about the issue but was told by several rude employees on the phone that no refunds would be given.
