Riad La Perle Rouge

Breakfast was great just a pity it was too hot to enjoy on the rooftop which was beautiful.

Riad La Perle Rouge is one of the best Riads in Marrakech. If you’re looking for somewhere a bit more quiet and local than the middle of the bustling Medina, this is the best spot. Not only is the Riad adorned and decorated beautifully, but the detail in the red tiling and spacious pool really set it apart from other Riads. They also offer incredible food, some of the best tagines we’d ever had (coming from a Moroccan!). The staff’s exceptional attention to detail and their friendliness made it feel like a home away from home. We were actually very very sad to leave. We chose a room with a private terrace, and often felt like the only ones there! It was quiet and peaceful and very tranquil. Needless to say we had the most amazing stay, made exceptional by the wonderful staff: Khalid, Fatima, Amal, Loubna and Ghizlane.

Nice and off the busy streets in Kasbah so quiet and nice to get away from the noise and people. The decor is really incredible and the roof top areas were gorgeous. We were there in the winter so did not get to use it as much as I think we would have liked.

Our rooms were very cold and damp. I know it is not typical for heating In Morocco but the damp beds and sheets were hard to handle! I am sure it is better in the warmer months. There are some rooms without windows to the outside and only to the open courtyard and walkway. There was not consistent hot water for showers.
