The location was excellent proximity to the beach. Good communication through WhatsApp

We rented a 2 bedroom and the AC unit was in the living room. We couldn’t keep our doors closed for privacy at night because we would literally sweat without it. The windows must not be double panes because the nightlife noise was insane not to mention the neighbors are very loud but that’s unfortunately something that cannot be controlled. During our stay the elevators malfunctioned which was difficult considering I was traveling with my elderly parents that had mobility issues and to climb to the 8th floor was ridiculous. Plumbing definitely needs to be reviewed because the kitchen sink smelled terrible and shower drain would clog during every shower to a point we had to turn off the water mid-shower. They did provide extra towels which is great while staying near the beach. Apartment decor was outdated and cumbersome but we just needed a place to sleep. The 400€ security deposit was a shock to the system considering the apartment had a lot of short comings and a lot of warnings posted throughout the space to ultimately making us feel uncomfortable touching anything. Overall the place was good and we had a good time in Portimão.
