This was easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. The location is great, allowing access to both the north and south coasts and with local amenities in Truro. The setting is idyllic with a stream running under the balconies and a large sunny garden. The property itself was spotlessly clean and fabulously well equipped and it was clear everything was high quality. The space and light were great and it was a pleasure to come back each afternoon and just relax in the comfortable living area or the garden. We had a small issue with the hot water which was quickly resolved, both Vicki and James were friendly hosts and it was a really nice touch that they came to welcome us on arrival and make sure everything was ok at the end. Communication with them was very easy. We will definitely be coming back we hope

Superb, immaculate property within 1 hours drive of all of Cornwall’s glorious attractions. Secluded yet accessible with the ‘away from it all’ feel without compromising on every modern amenity. What an absolutely stunning home - “Lower Helland”, Cornwall! We had an amazing stay! The house was state of the art, so cool, and the surrounding grounds, magical. Loved waking up to the birds and cows! Lovely walks right on our doorstep and such a great location to get to Dartmouth, Port Isaac, Ewe - just to name a few. Vicki came to greet us on arrival and left a wonderful welcome gift - wine, milk, cookies - fab! Vicki was very responsive and extremely helpful. The house was spotless, bright, spacious and in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed staying in Probus - it was quiet and convenient to all of the areas in Cornwall that we wanted to visit. I would absolutely recommend this house!

Wonderful peaceful property but convenient location

Wonderful, beautiful and peaceful property a fifteen minute walk from Probus. Although it is a quiet location, Probus has a good Indian restaurant, a pub with food, a well equipped Spar, a shop selling meat, veg and cheese, and a Chinese takeaway. The house is super clean, beautifully presented and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The property is a short drive from Truro with Waitrose and other supermarkets and as it is centrally located in Cornwall it is within a 20 to 30 minute drive of both coasts making this a very good location for sightseeing. Our two year old grandson loved the horse in the field next door and playing in the large garden. It was a great place to come back to after a day out. Vicky is a wonderful and helpful host. If travelling from the north we would recommend setting your sat nav for Probus and then for the postcode as otherwise ours took us along a very narrow lane from the other direction.

Me and my sister have just returned from what I have been can only describe as a dream holiday! We spent the first 30 minutes checking out the fantastic kitchen! Vikki had left us some essentials as well as a bottle of wine! The whole place was spotlessly clean and fresh! We both slept so well in the comfortable beds. The stream that runs just beside the cottage was so relaxing! No need for a sleep app for me! Lounging on the very comfortable sofas, watching the free Netflix and having a the wood burner going in the back ground made us feel so cosy! We will definitely be back! Mel & Nat 😊

Myself and 4 friends booked this beautiful house for our Cornwall adventure, the house definitely didn’t disappoint. Before we arrived I had lots of contact with the owner Vicky who told me what would happen on arrival etc. If I had any issues or questions she would help or answer without hesitation. The house is well equipped with cleaning products, clothes washing liquid, towels, tea, coffee and can’t forgot the gorgeous bottle of white wine left for us by Vicky. I didn’t get the chance to meet Vicky in person as myself and partner were travelling late in the day, our friends whom arrived before us said she’s so kind and welcoming. A lovely lady all round. Being in the countryside is so peaceful, you really can’t hear any cars go by, just hear the beautiful lake running by the side of the bungalow. Just want to say a massive thank you to Vicky for letting us stay in your perfect bungalow and that we had an amazing time and will 100% come again in the future! Some advice to people not sure whether to book, just do it! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you again! Megan and Friends xx

This is one of the best properties that we've ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. It was delightfully secluded with beautiful views and blissfully quiet but also very conveniently located in terms of proximity to local shops and exploring Cornwall. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return soon . Our host Vicki was a delightful lady and checked that everything was in order at the beginning of our stay.

From the moment we arrived I knew that we had found a very special property! It is simply the best holiday rental we have every stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). Communication with the owner before our stay was excellent. Vicki came to check that we had everything we needed about half an hour after we arrived and then again before we left at the end of the week. The bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, milk, eggs, biscuits, tea and coffee were a lovely welcoming touch. The location is fabulous for exploring both the North and South coast and Probus as a village had everything we needed, great Indian, Fish & Chips and a very well stocked Spar. We didn't get to try to the Chinese or pub. The property is just simply stunning. Our boys enjoyed the space outside and we were blessed with the heatwave week so were able to make the most of the bi-fold doors and outside area. Listening to the stream every morning made for a very tranquil start to the day. Not quite sure that any other rental will live up to our expectations now!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 12 nights in October 2020. The property is exactly as it appears online, and is spotlessly clean. Check in and out were contactless and straightforward. Property owner was unobtrusive but available if needed. The property is lovely. It's newly built and modern, with lots of windows so you can appreciate the rural location. Set down a country lane there is absolute peace and quiet (other than the burbling stream). The local village has a farm shop with fresh local produce and a convenience store which is useful. Generally it's well located to visit lots of Cornwall. Highly recommended!

What a magnificent place to stay. Pristine and clean like we were the first people to ever visit. The cottage has everything you could want and then even more!!! A lovely welcome awaited with milk eggs and even a lovely bottle of wine to greet us. Located in a rural setting with a lovely running stream running alongside the property is a place we could only ever imagine existed. Only a short drive to reach all Cornwall and Newquay have to offer. We are already planning on visiting for longer next year!! Thank you so much Vicki, just what we needed! See you next year. We had an incredible stay here for 10 days. The property is spacious and modern set in beautiful grounds. Vicki was a great host and very helpful throughout our stay, and lives just a little up the road. Lots of supplies and a cot for our little one. The location was excellent for exploring Cornwall. We spent 14 days in quarantine at the property and a week after. It is modern and uncluttered, yet cosy and comfortable. The house is on a very quiet country lane, surrounded by hills and pastures, and there is a narrow creek running right next to it. Very peaceful. Our hosts were nice and helpful. We had a wonderful stay overall. Thank you for hosting us.
