About this house rental

Southern Living is a home that is just that. Your biggest decision will be to have your coffee / drinks on the front porch swing, rocking chairs, or in the Adirondack chairs in the back. This home has been updated and ready for lovers of the Eastern Shore. Kid friendly with baby gates, LOTS of toys to keep the little ones busy, while the adults can enjoy themselves, not to mention a fenced in yard for safety!

Highly recommend booking this home for your Cape Charles visit. This is a charming historic home with lots of character. Only a short walking distance to the beach (even faster with a golf cart!), it has everything we needed for our week stay. We enjoyed particularly enjoyed the wide front porch, the outdoor shower, the provided beach chairs/umbrellas, and the large living room. The owner was extremely responsive to all my questions leading up to the trip and while we were there. This home is truly a gem.

Perfect location. Close to the beach and Mason St. Very well equipped home that also has tons of beach chairs and toys. Very nicely set for small kids. Even had two pack and plays so we didn’t have to pack them. Jennifer was great at communicating. I’d definitely recommend.

My husband, daughter, son in law and 20 month old grandson spent the week in Cape Charles in the “Southern living” home. The house fit our family perfectly. The decor was light and airy. We were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness and much needed maintenance issues that need to be dealt with. Jennifer was always quick to respond. It has lots of potential! Location is great.
