About this house rental
It is a late 19th century large store of 310 square meters with a wooden rafter roof, where, leaving a central space free, we have built two floors on both sides. There are three living rooms, a kitchen and a barbecue with sink outside, 6 bedrooms, one of which is 7 meters x 4 with 5 beds, two double and three triple bedrooms, four bathrooms with shower. and an additional shower at the entrance, an outdoor courtyard of 70 meters. Internet wi-fi throughout the house.
It is a special house where you can have an unforgettable holiday with family or friends. Each room is independent and there is plenty of free space inside, but also an outdoor courtyard where you can relax or have dinner together. You have to cross the street and there is a promenade in front of the sea, the beach and the small port. On the promenade there is also a small corner with games for children. Nearby there are good restaurants and cafes. A first beach is 100 meters away, another, very large, 5 minutes on foot. A few kilometers away there are many other beaches. Just in front there is a center where you can do scuba diving. From Marzamemi, which is also one of the most famous tourist resorts in Eastern Sicily, you can make very interesting excursions to visit the beautiful towns of Noto, Ragusa, Scicli. The marvelous Vendicari Nature Reserve is 7 kilometers away. The city of Siracusa is 45 minutes away by car and you can therefore also go and see the classical performances at the Greek theatre. This year 2022, they will be from May 17th to July 9th and there will be "Agamennone" by Aeschile, "Edipe king" by Sofocle, "Ifigénie en Tauride" by Euripides and "Orestea" by Aeschile.
From May 14th to 15th in Noto the famous "Infiorata" takes place, which you absolutely have to see!

A curiosity: the house is exactly located on the place where in july 1943 the english army headed by General Montgomery landed!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 7 giorni in due famiglie per un totale di dodici persone. Spazio per tutti ed ognuno a suo agio. Bellissimo essere in paese con bar e ristoranti a pochi passi. Proprietari motlo attenti e premurosi. Esperienza da ripetere!!!

Une très belle maison (enfin un ancien atelier rénové en maison confortable) pour 18 personnes. A 2 minutes à pied du très beau centre du village pittoresque de Marzamemi. La propriétaire Madame Dagnino est billingue et très arrangeante et la maison est très bien équipée et nous y avons passé une semaine parfaite.

We are an extended family of 13 and this property suited us very well, with beautiful views over the harbour of Marzamemi. The owner was very helpful and flexible throughout our booking and stay in her house. Our holiday took place during one of the annual celebration weeks and the atmosphere created in the restaurants and throughout the village in the evenings was vibrant and enjoyed by the whole family. The property was clean and local support was very helpful.

we arrived very late in the evening and a very nice lady was waiting for us. The house was like is was described although with a child of 2,5 all the stairs were very tricky.The beach is nearby but not in front of the house.To get provisions you need a car to get to the next village.
Marzamemi is very touristic so you find restaurants all over the place.We would like to recommend the installation of a microwave in the kitchen.
