About this house rental

Brimming with charm, Winchester Street is an oasis of calm and comfort. Spacious, elegantly furnished and well-located between the laidback charms of Pimlico and the buzz of Sloane Square, this two-bedroom family apartment is an excellent base to enjoy your London adventures.

LIVING & EATING
A bright and spacious living room featuring a comfortable sofa and a pair of wool tweed-covered armchairs will make you feel instantly warm and relaxed as you return home from a long day of London sightseeing. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you might need to whip up a lovely home-cooked supper or a leisurely breakfast to enjoy at the large dining table, which will seat six, or perhaps you'd like to enjoy your morning coffee and listen to the birds chirping away outside on the private patio garden.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
An ideally proportioned and gracefully designed master bedroom, containing a UK king-sized bed (5ft wide), will be perfect for a couple and has its ensuite designer bathroom with a large shower and WC washbasin. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The newly refurbished main bathroom contains a massive bath with an overhead shower, WC and washbasin.

ACCESS & LAYOUT
This home is set across two floors through a white-pillared entrance at street level. You will find the living, dining and kitchen areas on the upper ground level. Located down one flight of stairs on the lower ground level, you will find two bedrooms, bathrooms, and a private patio garden, where four chairs and a table invite you to sit and enjoy the outside.

Location, location, location! It is rare to find such a charming home where you are within easy distance of London's most sought-after attractions: Sloane Square, Tate Britain, Buckingham Palace and Victoria - all nearby!

Walking over the road into Belgravia past A-list designer furniture shops and cafes past Ebury Square, you are excellently placed to explore the famous King's Road, with its multitude of shops and boutiques, eclectic bars and sophisticated restaurants, or take a short taxi or bus up to Knightsbridge. Keen Thespians will find the Royal Court Theatre on Sloane Square and the Apollo in Victoria. On Saturdays at the nearby Duke of York Square, a gastronomically cosmopolitan food market, and the French Farmers market in Ebury Square will hold all foodies in their thrall on Sunday. The Saatchi Gallery will delight art fans, and a picturesque walk will take you down onto the Chelsea embankment and the Thames to the foot of the iconic Albert Bridge.

The home on Winchester Street was beautiful, clean and in a quiet residential neighborhood yet within walking distance to the Buckingham Palace area and Victoria Station. There were also shops and restaurants nearby. The management company was very responsive to any issues with the property. The only downsides were the back garden was a little overgrown and there was no hot tub as was listed in the amenities. Overall this home was an excellent choice for our vacation in London.

This charming flat in Pimlico was a delight. Although not air-conditioned, it was spacious and well-furnished. The best part was the proactive communication with the owner, who made every effort to meet our needs and make us feel at home. We felt taken care of while staying here.

This property is located in a great neighborhood, convenient to Victoria Station, grocery shopping and even a number of visitor attractions. The unit is very well appointed and the property manager is very accessible and easy to work with. Just a couple of qualifying points - the bathrooms and bedrooms are downstairs, so people who are uncomfortable with a flight of stairs should carefully consider whether this is the right property for them. Also, while the furnishings in the living room are dated, everything is clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very nicely done. This is an excellent place to use as your base of operations for a nice stay in London.

We came to London for the holidays and my birthday. It was our first time in London. We loved this location. Very close to bus lines and Victoria Station for the trains. The flat was homie and comfortable. We would stay here again!
