Castle House

We loved the location of the property it was perfect. Walking distance to the beach & restaurants. Whitsable is a beautiful little historic coastal town.

The property could do with a good deep clean. Only one toilet roll provided for 3 nights. The coffee was so old the coffee was hard in the jar & no tea provided. The plunger coffee pot was still full & growing fungus from previous tenants. All amenities needed refreshing!

Location is brilliant, right in the centre of everything. Handover of keys was very easy. The property is very quirky and nicely kept. There were 6 of us staying and we personally slept in the loft room (a couple) this is accessed by a ladder which was fine for us, but not safe for kids or older people. Also no blinds / curtains in this room so an early wake up for us. Nice place though, we would stay again.

Very noisy , until 1 am . Then pub deliveries at 4am . Thin curtains so light comes into all the rooms .as soon as it’s dawn . Take an eye mask & ear plugs . Bay windows in bathroom loose , so if l windy & they bash loudly as if someone is trying to get in . Scary at 3,am . Loads of printed messages around the flat , passive aggressive, not welcoming. The whole flat needs some TLC as it feels unloved .
