We have just enjoyed 2 weeks at the lovely villa Stella hosted by the very helpful and friendly Alexandros.
Immaculately clean and with the basic supplies, coffee, tea, bread, home grown grapes, bread and salad ready and waiting for us on arrival. We were even treated to a bottle of the owners own grown olive oil.
Simply couldn’t ask for more.
The road to the house is very steep so a good car is essential.
Would definitely recommend.

Het was even zoeken om Villa Stella te vinden, maar na een telefoontje naar de eigenaar is hij ons komen halen en is hij ons voorgereden naar de villa. Een degelijke huurwagen is wel een must; de villa ligt bovenaan een zeer steile weg die niet aangelegd is en vol stenen ligt. Over het algemeen is een goeie wagen nuttig, aangezien de wegen op Kreta niet al te best zijn en zeer steil op en af kunnen gaan. Om een supermarkt te bereiken, moet je ook al gauw 20 minuten rijden want in de omgeving van de villa is enkel een kleine buurtwinkel (met de auto te bereiken, opnieuw langs het steile pad). Als je van rust houdt, is een verblijf in de villa ideaal: er is rondom werkelijk niets en je komt ook niemand tegen. Het zwembad is fantastisch met de nodige ligbedden. Alexandros is zeer behulpzaam met tips voor uitstappen, restaurants, stranden, ... Hij houdt contact via sms of whatsapp, en vraagt geregeld of je nog iets nodig hebt. Hij heeft er ook voor gezorgd dat er bij onze aankomst iets te eten klaarstond in de koelkast. In de helft van de week komt hij het linnen en de handdoeken wisselen. Kortom, wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in Villa Stella.

Bijzonder plezierige ontvangst door eigenaar, die ons uiteindelijk telefonisch begeleidde, via een beetje moeilijk laatste stukje weg , naar onze vakantiewoning . Het huis heeft een volledig ingerichte keuken waar al een heel lekkere, uitgebreide Griekse maaltijd op ons wachtte. Schoonmaak en service meer dan perfect. Zwembad en tennisbaan prima. Wij hebben genoten.
