About this villa rental
Let yourself be carried away to the Egyptian world in the family-run House of Hathor.
Villa with spacious living area and TV and fully equipped kitchen.
4 comfortably furnished double rooms (2x double bed and 2x 2 single beds). Each room has its own large balcony. 3 bathrooms (shower / toilet), utility room with washing machine, iron.
The rooms and the living area are equipped with air conditioning. Freely accessible WLAN (prepaid).
Beautiful garden with swimming pool and direct access to the Nile, bar, BBQ, shisha lounge and sun loungers, sitting areas and playground.
On the roof terrace you have a wonderful view of the Nile, the idyllic farming village Naga'al Dschusur and the adjacent fields and plantations. Overwhelming and impressive sunrises and / or sunsets as well as balmy summer nights can also be enjoyed up here.
After an eventful day full of impressions and experiences, enjoy the tranquility outside the tourist streams or recover from a night stroll through the pool in the garden.
The house is suitable for people who are looking for something special, but also for couples, families with children and / or for smaller groups.

In 20 minutes by taxi or public minibus you can reach the center of Luxor with its historical antiquities Karnak and Luxor temples.
The sights of Thebes-West: Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Memnon colossi, are also nearby.
Also a city stroll through Luxor and the souk is recommended.

We had a wonderful experience with the host, Danielle, who was incredibly quick to respond to all our needs. Mohamed truly went above and beyond by ensuring my father was taken to the medical center with utmost care and for the transportation for our group. The house itself is impressively spacious, perfect for accommodating large groups comfortably. While it's about a 30-minute drive to the center, I had complete confidence in Mohamed's ability to manage all our transportation needs. He even took the initiative to arrange transport for our group to Hurghada, making our stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that Mohamed is the main reason I’m giving this a five-star review!.

The house is stunning and comfortably fit our group of 10 students and 1 staff leader. The views from the balconies and rooftop were gorgeous, the rooms were nice, and we made use of the kitchen and pool amenities. The wifi was accessible in most, but not all of the property--once you stray into the garden or additional guesthouse the wifi drops. The house is more like a 30 minute drive to most things you want to get to in Luxor. Also, based on its location, it can be a little challenging to get groceries or have food delivered to the house.
The manager was very friendly, quick to respond, and able to arrange our extra services. The tours and guides he set us up with were high quality and resonably priced. However, cost for services was at times a little hard to follow. Be prepared to pay for each service up front individually and in cash. We made the incorrect assumption that it would be billed at the end, so that made group payment a bit complicated as we had to collect our cash together before each service. Also, be prepared to be asked for a tip at the end for each employee: the manager, driver, housekeeper, gardener, and security. The staff did a good job, but again we weren't expecting to be asked for multiple tips.
Overall, it was a great place to relax in between our excursions, and serves as a good option for a larger group.
