About this house rental
Lasserre is a 200 year old farmhouse, carefully restored to provide authentic but also modern accommodation.
One of its most memorable and remarked on features is simply its position. Sitting on 30 acres of its own hill, in an acre of lawned garden, it has to one side uninterupted views extending for many miles over the surrounding hills and valleys, and to the other the Pyrenees. Whether sitting on the terrace or lying by the pool, the combination of views and silence, and the feeling of space, is utterly relaxing.

Dating back to the 1700s, this farmhouse was renovated in 2007 to offer a modern and comfortable residence while retaining its rustic charm.
The interior layout is spacious - over 300 square meters - and is equipped and furnished to the highest quality standards.
All rooms, including the five double bedrooms, are spacious.

We had a lovely stay for a week here in August. The property is beautiful, spacious and lovingly restored and set in the most amazingly peaceful and tranquil location, commanding an impressive view and guaranteed sunsets!
The house is very well equipped with everything you could wish for. The serenity here, with complete privacy made it feel a truly special break away from everything. Highly recommended!

Perfect house for a group of friends and family. Large kitchen fully equipped
Lovely pool with incredible views. Outdoor terraces perfect for eating and hanging out.
Very easy communication with owner.
Added bonus is proximity to Marciac for the Jazz festival! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house had an authentic feel with big bedrooms, cozy living rooms and a great equipped kitchen. The garden was well maintained. The water of the swimming pool was quite cold but the weather wasn't that great either.

This large renovated house sits on a hill with panoramic views across the valley. It is well appointed and equipped with every conceivable item. The pool was excellent and the first salt water pool we had ever experienced and we have hired a number of villas in the last ten years.
My grandsons spent hours in the pool (the weather was ideal) with no effect to their eyes which cannot be said for chlorinated pools.
We had not visited Gascony previously although it is only just over an hour and a half from Lourdes which we have visited for the last 25 years. Because it was quite hot we only visited towns local to Louslitges e.g. Marciac , Bassous, Barran and Aignan which were all very pretty and ideal to sit and drink in the local bars. We would certainly go back to see more of the stunning countryside
