Hydra's Pearl - White Pearl, Luxury Mansion, No steps, 50m from the port

This was genuinely the best place we have ever stayed. We travelled as a family of five, including my elderly grandmother, so finding somewhere central, quiet, comfortable and accessible without endless Hydra steps was incredibly important and this home was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable: just moments from the port, best restaurants downstairs, supermarkets, cafés and everything you could possibly need, yet once you close the double-glazed windows it is wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The air conditioning and cool interiors provide a wonderful refuge during the unforgiving afternoons of Greek sun with a gorgeous veranda. The house itself is immaculate, beautiful and exceptionally well equipped. What really stood out was the extraordinary thought Zoe has put into every single detail. There was coffee, tea, biscuits, jams, butter, plenty of cold water, soft drinks and even beers waiting for us. Beyond that, everything you might suddenly realise you forgot was already there, toothbrushes, razors, toiletries, loofahs, lovely shampoo and conditioner, beach towels and so much more. I have stayed in five-star hotels that were not this thoughtfully stocked. It genuinely feels as though someone has anticipated what would make your stay effortless before you even arrive. And then there is Zoe herself. She is an exceptional host: incredibly warm, kind, thoughtful and always nearby if you need anything. Staying here somehow feels less like renting a property and more like being welcomed into the home of a dear friend. Hydra is already a magical place, whether you come to create, think, spend time with family or simply disappear from ordinary life for a few days — and this house made our time here even more special. Forty us, it really was Hydra’s hidden pearl. We cannot wait to come back!

Excellent location, accommodation’s & host is wonderful & kind.

Everything was perfect!

The host met us at the marina ferry station and walked us the short walk to the apartment. The apartment was spacious and well fitted with comfort features.

Great apartment near the harbour with a lovely terrace. Very well stocked with everything you might need, including pots of Greek honey. Good air conditioning and soundproofing. The host was lovely and very helpful.
