Cascine di Oneglia area, accommodation in period building, suitable for families

We were enthousiastically welcomed bij our host Cristina, and felt immediately at home. The house has a lovely little garden, 2 bedchambers on the first floor and 2 bathrooms. It is lovely decorated. The house is near to the center of Oneglia and ideal for exploring Liguria.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Christina, the house is lovely, very clean also very tastefully decorated with a lovely shaded garden with a large umbrella to provide further shade if needed. The house has everything you would require for a self catering holiday. It’s about a 5 minute walk down a brick paved path to the shopping, harbour and bar/ restaurants area. The garage is ok for a modern smallish car a bit awkward for our classic Alfa with worm and roller steering gear and linkages albeit with power steering on this last of the line runout model. Villa Grock is approx 100 metres up the road and is worth a look, what talented man, world famous clown very obviously a big influence on Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy and others. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets within walking distance. Christina is easy to contact and very personable and very helpful. Thank you Christina we really enjoyed our stay. Les and Beryl

We wanted to just “live” in Italy for a month and, quite frankly, we picked this location because of this home. It is charming, clean and very well equipped - it is better upon arrival than the pictures! We traveled to Imperia by car, so the garage (although not easy to maneuver) was an added bonus. No car is needed if you stay here, though; everything you need is in walking distance. Cristina, you are a wonderful host and we thank you for having us in your vacation home! Don’t be surprised if our future travels find us returning to Liguria and this holiday home.

De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer compleet uitgerust. De ligging is in een woonwijk op een heuvel iets boven de levendige stad. Centrum op 10 minuten lopen. De weg langs het huis is smal en tamelijk druk. De bijbehorende garage is voor grotere auto's wat lastiger toegankelijk. Het contact met en de ontvangst door Cristina is hartelijk en ongecompliceerd. Al met al een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om de Ligurische kust te ontdekken. We hebben het uitstekend naar onze zin gehad.
