Beautiful crows nest. Steep stairs

We were in unit 3 and the views were exceptional. The photos don’t do the views from the balcony justice. We watched dolphins swim by, crew boat training, sailing ships. The communication from the property manager were also great. Wonderful.

Stairs, stairs, stairs. The property is not well marked and there are several entrances with unique lock boxes. Don’t rent this property unless you are comfortable climbing many stairs. Even the stairway inside up to the bedroom is quite steep with almost no landing at the top. The AC in the unit was not working and the hot water heater has its own switch near the lights so we only had cold water until we figured it out

Loved the location

The location is great. 10 min walk to the old city center. We stayed in Apt 4 and were happy with the accommodation. There are 2 bathrooms so that’s definitely a plus. Restaurants and small store less than 1 min walk. Washing machine and drying rack for balcony. Host shared an affordable parking option since the city parking in front of the building is 40€ per day but a parking enforcement officer happened to be there when we were unloading our luggage and he told us where we can park for free.

Lots of stairs - can be confusing to find the apartment at first. Shower is very small. Stairs for bedroom upstairs are very usual due to the limited space they had.

3 days in Sibenik

Easy self check-in. We had a ground floor studio apartment. Very clean, well appointed, and it had everything we needed, including a washing machine. The owner was very helpful and even had a small table with 2 chairs set outside the apartment for our use. Good location, walking distance to most things.

There is not a lot of natural light, but plenty of lighting provided.

Staying in the apartment was great. As for the smell mentioned in previous comments, it's only present in the lower bathroom, there are no issues in the other parts of the apartment.

Very comfortable, clean and quite big apartment! What was in the description and the pictures was also in real. Beautiful, old-style furniture, very good location - close to the beach and to the centre of the old town, but also in a much more calm area of the old town. It made it very quite in the evenings. Very friendly and responsive host. Fully recommended!

Awesome summer stay in Sibenik

The apartment is situated in the old town part of Sibenik yet close to the beach and all good restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen. Beach is roughly 10 mins walking. Host is very receptive and does her best to respond to our needs.

There is no free parking by the apartment. The closest parking is around 12 euro/day. City parking for 3 euro/day is about 15 mins walking. The beds are a little to firm for us, but this is a minor trouble comparing to the other benefits of this apartment.

Beautiful, romantic and cozy

We simply loved our stay at Barone Apartments! We spent our summer vacation there in the middle of July. Zvjezdana was incredibly kind and assisted us with giving us the keys, showing us around the apartment, and mentioned she is a call away if we needed anything. We are incredibly grateful to her for letting us stay at her place. The apartment - it was a gorgeous, homey, two-level apartment. On the first level there was a kitchen, toilet and bathroom, dining and relaxing area. Leading you to the second level, you'll see some creative and interesting stairs that serve as a centrepiece to the apartment. On the second floor you will find the bedroom, toilet and washing machine area, and the balcony. Oh, the balcony! Straight out of a romantic movie - a small cozy sitting area, with a view that is made for a postcard - you can see the sea and beach, as well as the beautiful authentic rooftops of the near houses. Beautiful! The apartment is situated perfectly - near the city alley, you can go for a long walk and admire the view, or you can sit at a nearby restaurant, have a drink and grab a bite. The apartment is 7-8 minutes away from the beach, 5-6 minutes away from a convenient parking, 5 minutes away from various landmarks. We really loved the cathedral and the sound of the bells in the morning - we got amazing sleep here and we didn't mind getting up a bit earlier in the morning. We recommend this place 100%, and we look forward to coming back soon.

Comfortable place in the Old Town

This very confortable appartment was great for 4 adults for a short vacation. It has an excellent location in the old part of town, the public beach is an easy 5 minutes walk away and shops are nearby. The place had privacy - there is a living area and there are two separate bedrooms so we had 4 normal beds (no need for anyone to sleep on a sofabed in the living room). There was also a nice terrace to use for an "al-fresco" breakfast or an evening drink. We did not cook but the place seemed well equipped with all necessary dishes and cooking utensils etc.

Nothing negative to report - just keep in mind that this is located in the old part of town which means you access the apartment by walking up a small set of stairs and church-bells wake you up in the morning but all those aspects are precisely all part of the charm.

Terrible smell but excellent host!

Wow this is so hard to review. Let’s start with the positives. The host we had was very good. Friendly and sorted everything for us. The location is also right in the old town and 1 minute to bars and then 5 minutes to the restaurants. The apartment is a rather good design with a comfortable loft style for the bed, getting to the loft is via an almost dangerous steep ladder style step Ensemble.... downstairs is a full function kitchen and couch which can double as a bed for 1 person (or a small couple). But that is unfortunately all overshadow by the biggest problem - the smell!

OMG, the smell!!! It’s atrocious... you cannot have these apartments listed without addressing that our apartment has a horrendous smell coming from the sewer system from the town. We were told it’s a known issue in the town (and you do smell it around the town) but it all seems to stem from our apartment bathroom. It fills the entire apartment, you cannot live upstairs and downstairs is only bearable with all windows open 24/7. I understand the issue is probably not that of the host but rather the city, however you cannot rent these apartments at close to 100 euros a night knowing that this smell is there (or likely to be there). Our host did give us a new apartment after 2 nights for one of us to stay in which was a relief but one of us was left to stay in the awful smell downstairs. I understand that the host did everything she could but the owner of this apartment must address the smell actively to people booking. In general, the apartments look nice but are cheaply renovated. You here the neighbours in the other apartments rather distinctly, so I believe the smell is a result also of a cheap renovation.

Tökéletes kisvárosi szállás egy kisebb család számára.

A környék csodaszép, a történelmi belváros sikátorai nagyon hangulatosak. Közel vannak a nevezetességek, az éttermek, a part, a strand, a bolt, a parkolók. (A kijjebb eső legolcsóbb parkoló is 10 perc séta.) A szállásadó segítőkész, figyelmes, korrekt, kedves. A szállás ízlésesen, szépen berendezett, minden tökéletesen működik és jó állapotú, otthonos. Igazi mediterrán kisvárosi lakás, az ablakok sikátorra néznek, de függöny, zsalugáter is van, szép kis teraszon lehet pihenni a bejáratnál. Nagyon élveztük az itt töltött napokat!

A felső apartman lakói olykor nagyon dübögtek, de nyilván vannak halkabb/hangosabb családok is.

Verkennen Sibenik

+ ruim appartement, mooi ingericht, netjes, fris + host was vriendelijk (op afstand) en heel behulpzaam + goede ligging voor het verkennen van Sibenik en omgeving + heel rustige ligging + de cityparking, €5/24u, altijd plaats, kleine 10 min lopen langs het water, was voor ons een aanrader.

- in het onderste/ gelijkvloers appartement geen uizicht en weinig daglicht. Er waren ook enkele lampen stuk waardoor het voor ons een heel donker gevoel gaf. - de aankomstinstructies mochten voor mij duidelijker zijn.

Perfekt ausgestattetes, romantisches Appartement in perfekter Lage am Fischerhafen

Perfekte Lage - direkt am Fischerhafen gelegen, viele Lokale in der Nähe. In ein paar Minuten ist man in der Altstadt. Sehr sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Überkomplett ausgestattet. Sehr nette Betreuer, die einen über Telefon immer nett und freundlich zur Seite stehen. Sehr romantisches Appartement über 2 Ebenen in einem renovierten Altstadthaus. Mini Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick nach links und rechts auf das Meer. Gerne wieder - gerne länger ;-). Ein Parkplatz für 5 Euro am Tag wurde uns empfohlen, von dort ist man in 10 Minuten zu Fuß bei der Wohnung.

Alles in Ordnung - hat genau unseren Erwartungen entsprochen.

Logement agréable en plein centre, proche de Krka

Appartement très agréable, situation idéale dans les ruelles du centre du vieux Sibenik, proche des restaurants et sites historiques. Petit balcon/terrasse vue mer super. L’appartement est assez petit (mais plus grand que sur les photos) mais très bien aménagé, literie confortable, bien équipé. Parking à 10 minutes à pied (5€ la journée). Très proche du parc de Krka, environ 15-20 minutes en voiture. Nous étions en famille avec nos 2 enfants, je recommande ce logement !

Comme tous les logements dans le centre historique, les immeubles ont de petites fenêtres, donc peut-être un petit manque de lumière naturelle.
