About this cottage rental
Salmon Trout Lane is a 4 Season, 2 bedroom cottage which sits on a quiet bay at the south end of Salmon Trout lake. The cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen with small and large appliances, bathroom with shower, satellite TV and a DVD player. For you and your guests enjoyment, it comes with a paddle boat, canoe, kayaks, paddle board and 12ft aluminum boat with oars (your motor can be used). Cottage offers a lovely private clean swimming area with deep off the dock water and gradual entry at the shore. There is also a bunkie available that could sleep additional guests. There is a large deck off the main cottage with a propane BBQ and outdoor furniture. There is also a large screened in porch area. 4 Lifejackets are available in limited sizes. There is also a fire pit down by the waters edge for further family enjoyment. Limited amount of firewood is provided.

Salmon Trout lake is a beautiful spring fed lake (which has walleye & small mouth bass) its approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes from Toronto or Ottawa and is located 20 minutes north of Bancroft an amazing small town with all the amenities of large city.

We loved everything about this property. The cottage was clean and very cozy, the big deck was great for a bbq and hanging out, the bunkie house was great for the kids, the covered gazebos was a great extra space and the lake front was beautiful. The hosts were great and had excellent communication.We will definitely be back next summer and cant wait to enjoy this property during warmer weather!

Host was very responsive and flexible about our check-in and checkout. It’s in a quiet cove of a peaceful lake, in a quiet community, so very relaxing. We enjoyed the screened in porch, and the use of the kayaks and canoe.

We had a wonderful time. The property is perfect for dogs and small children, as it has a very gentle slope to the water. The cottage was clean, and newly renovated. This cottage has everything, including a dishwasher, and air conditioning.

Great family get away, we all enjoyed the lake. The screened in porch was greatly appreciated because we did get some rain. The children loved the bunker. The kitchen was very well stocked, beds comfy. Highly recommend this cottage., just not the week l want to return, Lol
