Midounia

Tutto. Non c’è nulla da migliorare.

Great stay with two wonderful hosts! Yves and Fabienne made this stay special. They live downstairs while guests stay in a separate apartment upstairs with its own entrance, so we had complete privacy and freedom to come and go as we pleased. They handed us the keys on arrival and told us we were welcome to use the pool downstairs anytime during our stay. The apartment itself was super clean too. Beyond being incredibly welcoming, both hosts have fascinating stories to share — we really enjoyed chatting with them. Fabienne also creates beautiful handmade clay pieces: small sculptures like Djerba houses, turtles, and local monuments. We'd definitely recommend picking up a piece or two from her if you get the chance. Breakfast deserves its own mention: served by the pool every morning, which added a real touch of charm. The spread was different each day so it never got repetitive, always tasty and surprisingly healthy too. Fresh fruit, ham, eggs, honey, butter, coffee, juice - a really varied and generous spread each day. We'd happily stay at Al Midouna again and recommend it to anyone visiting Djerba.
