Beautiful two bed apartment with sea front views

Great location lovely views. Nice apartment stairs a bit of a hard climb. Getting into the property wasn’t easy and communal areas gives poor first impression. Overall was very nice

Views are incredible and the flat is just three flights of stairs away from the center of Tenby’s restaurant and shopping hub with nearby access to the beach. Parking is offsite but conveniently located adjacent to Sainsbury groceries and a 5-minute walk away. Your first time climbing the three flights of stairs with luggage can be challenging when you first arrive but after the first ascent, you get in a groove. Communication with host was top-notch.

The apartment is not luxurious as advertised. On entering the yard to the main door was filthy with weed growing out of the walls. The refuse bins were overflowing with rubbish and not a nice place to come back to especially on an evening.The best thing was the sea and beach view. The parking provided is a multi storey car park about a quarter of a mile away and makes it awkward to drop cases and belongings off because of the one way street and double yellow lines. The apartment is on a third floor and you have to climb 54 stairs to get to it. Some of the walls and ceilings are damp with paint cracking off in places. The owner has put moisture collectors in every room which when we were staying was all full of water. The kitchen was clean and tidy. The double bed was an old spring bed which is not very comfy. The shower is hot water only and can't be turned down to a cooler temperature. The toilet seats move when you sit on them and the one in the shower is difficult to sit on as you have a wall and a radiator straight in front of you. The TV set which had on demand BBC and Channel 5 but didn't work. Turning the TV on was a bit complicated you have two TV controls and was very frustrating trying to get the TV on. The mats in the living room had been stuck down with tape a few years ago but the edging is now curled up and is a health and safety issue.The photos of the apartment looks like they were taken about ten years ago. Needs attention and bringing back to life again.
