Maison Roma del Porto Fluviale is an elegant 30sqm studio apartment, just renovated, located in via del Porto Fluviale in the Ostiense district.
It is located on the 2nd floor of a period building, with an elevator. Fully equipped kitchenette (fridge, electric kettle, microwave, hob), table and chairs, foldaway double bed, sofa bed for one and a half, 42-inch flat-screen TV, wireless internet connection, bathroom with shower comfortable and hairdryer. Iron and ironing board. Air conditioning / heating. Free and fast WiFi connection. 3 bed places.(or 2 adults and 2 children)
The Quertiereere Osiene is full of clubs, pubs and restaurants. There is also Eataly the famous chain specialized in the sale and catering of high quality Italian food.
The points of tourist interest are the Pyramid of Cestius, the English Cemetery, the Museum of the Via Ostiense, the Railway Museum Park, the Centrale Montemartini, the Basilica of San Paolo outside the walls.
On foot you can reach Trastevere, Testaccio and Garbatella in a few minutes, and visit the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Fori Imperiali, Campo de 'Fiori, the Colosseum, the Capitol and most of the most important monuments of the Eternal City .
Area well served by public transport, with connections to Fiumicino airport and Termini station. Well connected to the new Fiera di Roma.

Nous avons passé 6 nuits dans l'appartement de Giorgio début septembre 2017. Giorgio est un hôte affable et très attentionné avec qui les échanges ont été rapides et clairs. L'appartement est très lumineux, suffisamment équipé, parfait pour deux. Le seul bémol vient du bruit de la rue, assez passante, et de la voie ferrée, mais après nos journées de visite de Rome, cela ne nous a pas empêchés de bien dormir. Il faut signaler aussi des odeurs de refoulement dans les toilettes, liées à des travaux dans l'immeuble. Il est actuellement en rénovation, et aura sûrement beaucoup plus d'allure quand ce sera terminé.
Tout près de l'appartement, on trouve des supermarchés, des restaurants, un délicieux glacier.
L'accès est très facile depuis l'aéroport. Le métro, les gares d'Ostiense et Porta San Paolo sont à moins de 10 mn.
Nous séjournerions volontiers à nouveau dans l'appartement de Giorgio.

Charmand studio d'environ 35m2.
Pratique et confortable, Giorgio a pensé à tout pour le confort de ses invités.
L'appartement est a 30 min a pied du Colisée et à seulement 3 min de métro (pour aller dans le centre) du rer (pour aller a la plage) et du train (pour l aeroport).
Les transports en commun à Rome n'étant pas très bien desservis tout se fait a pied.
L'immeuble est en travaux dans un quartier peu entretenu. N'ayez crainte le quartier est très bien fréquenté et l'immeuble sera certainement en bon état dans quelques mois.
Seul petit bémol. La rue sous l'appart est assez bruyante (gros boulevard) et les canalisations de la sdb émanent beaucoup de mauvaises odeurs mais peut-être est ce une spécialité Italienne...
