A private retreat in the hills of Havelock North. With access to 4 acres of gardens, fruit trees, woods, and facilities including a pool and tennis court, visitors will always have something to do here.
The property has beautiful views of the Hawkes Bay, with glorious sunsets, and is close to the start of walking tracks and bike trails on Te Mata Peak. Wineries and other attractions are nearby - and wedding options are available.
The apartment is ideal for couples or families, with children well catered for in the 2nd bedroom. Our family live on-site in an adjacent dwelling, and are happy to assist at any time. The property has outdoor CCTV surveillance for your security.
Visitors are welcome to join in with the feeding of chickens, rabbits and fish, and are able to pick fruit on the many different types of trees on the property. Come and enjoy your stay in Havelock North!

Really enjoyed our stay at Ambury House. Fantastic accommodation; amazing facilities - everything was lovely and clean - spacious and well appointed. Ian was very accommodating - kindly took us to our concert; - a very hospitable host. We would definitely stay there again if it worked out.

Awesome place to stay!Ian & Joe are great people and the property is beautiful.The pool was fantastic especially on those 34 degree days!!!Monty the dog is always friendly and liked to pay visits which was handy as he was great at waking up teenagers from their slumber with a lick to the face! Ollie the cat was a typical cat... demanding attention only when it suited him!The accommodation is spacious with an AC unit in the lounge, again very helpful on those hot days.If you like to do a bit of MTB riding, then the house is just down the road from the Te Mata peak MTB park which has some great trails to explore and there are the walking tracks as well which were great for the morning run.
