This home is directly connected to the boardwalk for easy beach access along with multiple decks. Includes 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths plus outdoor shower, grill and washer & dryer. 15 minute walk into Ocean Beach for restaurants and shopping. 10 minute walk from Atlantique marina for boat slips, sport courts, bay beach, playground, and The Shack! Ferry service to/from Bay Shore to either Ocean Beach or Atlantique. Huge beach right out the window, away from the crowds to enjoy the summer on this beautiful island!

We had a really nice stay(don't skip by because of this first paragraph! It was a great stay, read all of review) and really the only thing I would recommend to add to the listing is the realistic walk from the Ocean Beach Ferry to the house and the difficulty level when taking your items so people can plan properly. The entire walk is about a mile. 95% of it is through ocean beach on the boardwalk until it ends. Then, you walk the rest of the trip on sand. Deep sand, not flat sand like you have at the water edge. It is a good min of 10 mins. We were lucky and had no rain but it was hot. Was it worth it? 1000000% YES!! because once you do get to the house, it is so relaxing and wonderful. Just know what you have to do to get there.The house itself is great, updated, and air conditioning worked well in all of the house. It never felt sticy or humid. Which almost never is the case at a beach house . Amazing views. Quiet beach. But if you walk on the beach 10 mins either direction, you are in lifeguarded ocean. Still never felt crowded and very well monitored. Michelle was very good at communication, answered quickly and had lots of suggestions for what to do in the other towns near by. The point of this location is relaxation. And it really was a realxing trip!

This property is beautifully situated steps from the ocean, with a great wrap-around deck for maximizing outdoor living. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Just read the listing carefully before you book so you understand there is a bit of a hike from the ferry (the price to pay for privacy!) and note that the check-out process does require you to launder all used sheets and towels. That was a new one for me, and did take a fair amount of planning, given the single small machine. Also note the dishwasher and bbq were not usable on our visit but the host indicated those would be repaired. If you have any questions though Michelle will get back to you right away. I only wish our weather was better for the first half of our trip but we still had a great time.

Great house, second from the beach but you feel like you are on the beach because of the views. We had an awesome stay!
