Lake Haus on McQueeney

Beautiful Waterfront 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home on one of the most desirable parts of Lake McQueeney. We offer a fantastic lakeside deck and upper deck perfect for entertaining friends and family. The upper deck has a large 6 burner gas grill, dining table and a gas fire table (our happy place is an evening glass of wine + tapas taking in the river view by the fire). The lower dock offers lounge seating, picnic table, and an easy to use Bluetooth sound system. There are also several fishing pole holders and some of the best fishing in south Texas. We aggressively treat for mosquitoes (doesn’t mean you won’t see any but they are not a huge problem). We are one of the only places around that offers a water mat, kayaks and paddle boards for use (2 kayaks, one of which is a 2 seater and 2 standup paddle boards); you can enjoy a leisure fishing kayak or go for a miles long paddle workout on the morning glass of the river. The waterfront is also very usable at night...enjoy fishin' in the dark or flip on the flood lights to completely illuminate the deck.

We know that a big day at the lake can take it out of you - Absolutely nobody in the vacation rental business takes your sleep more seriously than we do! We believe that 2 people should never share a bed smaller than a King, sofa sleepers are absolutely unacceptable, quality beds save your back, and rooms should be dark enough for everyone to sleep in as late as they like. ALL bedrooms have legitimate room darkening curtains or blinds. We have also added the convenient touches like outlets close to each side of the bed, and plenty of pillows. The sleeping setup is 3 king beds and 4 twin beds divided into 4 bedrooms. We also have 2 additional twin beds slid under beds for use in whatever rooms you choose (there is also a full size crib available for use in the master bedroom, and a pack n play that can be used elsewhere).

The Lake Haus offers abundant parking with carport and driveway space for up to 9 cars.

The Lake Haus will always keep you entertained and includes Giant Jenga (made with 2 x 4's), a large shuffleboard table and three big screen TV's. The home is artfully decorated with a clean, classy rustic feel and quality furniture. The home has a very open and light feel, making you feel comfortable and at home from the time you walk in. The living room wall is covered with wood reclaimed from a local Texas dance hall. The kitchen is stocked with a large coffee maker, keurig, microwave, toaster oven, blender, slow cooker, quality pots and pans, and sharp knives. There is also a large cooler available for use.

Lake McQueeney is stocked with catfish, sunfish, white crappie, spotted bass, and large mouth bass. We are close to everything! Less than 10 miles to Schlitterbahn, Gristmill, Gruene Hall, lake Dunlap, lake Placid, New Braunfels, Comal River and Guadalupe River.
