About this cottage rental

Felicity cottage is a grade ll listed, slate fronted, cob built terraced cottage. It has recently been renovated to provide modern comforts but retaining character. The cottage is in a most convenient position, located at the end of a quite no through rd off the high street, there is little need to move your car with everything on your doorstep, Summerleaze beach, the lovely sea pool, the breakwater and whale rock, Bude canal, shops and restaurants, golf, fishing, coast path, tennis, riding, rowing boat hire, and surf hire shops. There are also plenty of attractions a short drive away, north to the stunning beaches of Sandymouth (which can be walked to along the beach from Bude if timed well! ) and Duck pool, the isolated feeling Hartland peninsula and on to Clovelly. South to picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle, Crackington haven, and Port Isaac. Along with many attractions and fun days out. There is parking for one car in front of the property. At the back there is a small yard that has shared access with joining properties. Dogs are allowed and Bude is very dog friendly with even some cafes and restaurants allowing them in. Sorry maximum of 2 medium or 3 small dogs

Superb location for access to town, shops and beaches. Parking tricky as it’s a narrow no through road so you either have to reverse in and up to cottage or reverse out onto a busy road. Having said that I would gladly stay at the cottage again

Central location in Bude, quiet charming street showing the older style character cottages, less than a minutes walk and you are at the shops. Cottage was clean & tidy, with everything you would need if required. Efficient and accurate communication from the owner.

A little gem of a find. The cottage is on a very charming and quiet street in Bude. Just a short walk to the town centre and beach. The cottage has everything you need for a home from home stay. The host has taken care to pay attention to detail with a lovely box of cookies on arrival. Check in and out was a breeze and we was extremely lucky to have an earlier check in and a later check out. Would highly recommend this wonderful cottage.

Delightful cottage ,well appointed and excellent location to the centre but peaceful. Great range of local facilities and magical beaches and wonderful canal walks and access to Sth West coast path. Would love to visit Bude later this year for short break and use the outdoor sea pool !

We had a great week in Felicity Cottage, so well equipped and tastefully furnished - it had everything we needed. The location was perfect for a potter around the town, a coastal walk or two and we enjoyed a walk along the canal. We only took the car out once as there was so much to do on the doorstep. Central yet quiet. Would love to return and would certainly recommend

The cottage is located up a no-through road just off the town centre and an easy walk to the beach so ideal location for us. The cottage was very clean and tidy and catered for our every need. We used the wood burner in the evening which we loved but the cottage seemed warm all the time anyway. The curtains in the main bedroom were very thin and light in colour and there is a street light opposite, we live in the country with no lights so this did disturb us initially but we found we got used to it. Other than that we have no criticism at all. We’ve already booked to go back in February!

Lovely traditional cottage in a great location, with excellent communication from owner who explained in advance that parking is tight if you have a large car .The only negative for us was that previous guests had clearly allowed their dogs to sit on the sofas.

We had an amazing few days in this property. It is in a great location in the centre of Bude, with a parking space right outside the front door. It is comfortable and clean and the communication with Rebecca was faultless. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Beautiful cottage, tucked down a cul de sac. Cottage is lovely and clean and has everything you need and more. Perfect location for kids and dogs. Town is on your door step and the beach less than 10 mins away. Can’t recommend this property and owner enough. Both are fantastic. Hope to visit again in the future and will be booking this cottage.

Just spent a fabulous week at Felicity Cottage: it is situated on a quiet road, close to all amenities and less than 10 minutes walk to the lovely beach and sea pool. The cottage is beautifully presented, cosy, warm and fully equipped and with parking directly in front of cottage. Would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a convenient place in North Cornwall and we look forward to another visit as soon as we can get away again!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Felicity Cottage with our labrador. Rebecca has thought of everything to make your stay perfect, with plenty of things to make use of from beach equipment to the smart TV! The cottage is really well equipped and you can easily park up and forget about the car for a week. It's in the centre of town but certainly doesn't feel like it, it's such a quiet residential street. In only a matter of minutes you can be by the canal or on the beach. What more could you want?! For those without a four legged friend in tow, you'd never know dogs have stayed there. For those with a pooch, Rebecca is so welcoming with beds available and a fresh bowl of water for them on arrival! The only other thing to say is we didn't think the photos did the cottage justice - not far they are bad but the place is even nicer in the flesh! Cannot recommend it enough and we look forward to returning at some stage.

Although it is very central it’s at the end of a cul de sac and it’s just so quiet.The neighbours we met were really friendly and we had no issues with parking.Having never been to Bude before, we only used our car once to visit Boscastle as there was everything we needed within walking distance.Lovely beaches, shops, takeaways, restaurants and pubs.Rebecca was very easily contactable during our stay if needed.We will definitely be returning x

Felicity cottage was perfect for our staycation. Cosy, well equipped kitchen and very clean. Car parking tricky ... would of struggled parking a large car outside cottage. Would recommend. Beautiful beach walking distance. Beautiful costal walks.

Lovely week in Bude 18/7/20 -25/7/20. Weather great, lots of time spent on the beach. Everything within walking distance. Cottage is in a brilliant location, right in town. No need to move car. Lovely cottage, & would definitely stay again.

The host had thought of everything and the cottage is finished to a very high standard. We had a very comfortable stay. The beach is an easy walk away and there are loads of restaurants around. The kitchen is very well stocked and the cottage very cosy for nights in. There was also lots of great beach equipment!
