Comfortable and cozy apartment, five minutes away from the historic centre of Ostuni, the “pearl” of Valle d’Itria.
La Terrazza del Professore is a three-levels apartment, located in a characteristic building in a small alley of Ostuni. Our guests will be fascinated by the traditional architectural details, such as the white stone walls and the ceiling with its dynamic design. Our house has been accurately furnished with extreme attention to details to satisfy our guests’ needs. Entering the apartment, our guests will find a welcoming dining room with a relaxing area, where to enjoy traditional apulian dinners prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. Walking up to the first floor, there is a romantic bedroom with a queen-sized bed and then, the enchanting terrace with an amazing view over the rooftops. This space comes with a dining table, deckchairs to sunbathe and an outdoor kitchen. Finally, a modern bathroom with shower and washing machine, elegantly decorated, completes the property.
La Terrazza del Professore comes with all the necessary comforts to meet our guests’ needs, and allow them to spend a relaxing and cozy stay, including free Wi-Fi, air conditioning for warmer italian days and heating for the colder season.

Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.

Beautiful place, really professional team, so convenient!

Der Empfang bei Anreise und die Abnahme bei Abreise des vor Ort ansässigen Reisebüros "Wonderful Italy" hat super geklappt. Sie wohnen in einem landestypischen Stadthaus in Zentrumsnähe (10 min.) Das Haus ist ausreichend groß, sauber und schön restauriert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nicht so gut gefallen hat uns,das allerhand zurückgelassene Utensilien von vorher abgereisten Urlaubern in den Schränken zu finden war. Von hart gewordenem Salz bis zu ranzigem Olivenöl. Wie gesagt, die Wohnung war sauber außer in den Schränken. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Da keine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden wäre ein Wasserkocher von Vorteil, ebenso ein Schneidebrett. Die Terrasse ist schön, aber wir mussten uns die Stühle und den Tisch selbst aufbauen. Die Liegen und der Wäscheständer waren eigentlich nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Die Terrasse könnte man etwas schöner und liebevoller gestalten. Bitte beachten, in dem Haus sind sehr steile Stufen. Wir haben uns aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Ostini ist ein hübsches Städtchen. Ebenso unbedingt anschauen Lecce, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Monopoly, Polignano a mare usw. Apulien ist wunderschön ....

La propreté laisse fortement à désirer !!!
Tout est vétuste ou carrément hors-jeu service comme la climatisation par exemple...
Beaucoup de choses à revoir !
