Paz Cottage

I liked the hospitality othe the host who even went to the extent of checking where I was during the travel in the evening and I was also welcomed warmly by the attendant and made to feel at home throughout my stay. The facilities were very good for me and I wouldn't ask for more especially taking into account the value for money. The location is very quiet and out in the bush making one feel close to nature. One cannot complain about the 6 km gravel road (which is not too long) from the location to the tarmac road linking Rusape and Juliasdale since the road is navigable even by a sedan car like Toyota Corolla.

I can hardly think of anything that I didn't like.

Very secluded location with nice view over the area. The rooms were sizeable and the beds comfortable. Overall the cottage met my expectations. Open fire in the living room.

A bit difficult to find. The signage towards the end wasn't perfect. Even Google maps didn't show me the correct final 500 m. No heating in the rooms. Luckily I brought my own. Road leading in to the cottage would almost require a 4x4.

The location of Paz was wonderful - with incredible views and very peaceful. Patrick, the member of staff was so helpful (he showed us a very pretty waterfall near the lodge and helped us out) The lodge was very comfortable. A really enjoyable stay. (but don't forget to take enough food for your stay!)

Nothing to do with the lodge, but it is located few km off the tarmac road and the track to the lodge could be a challenge to use after rain.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Clean and comfortable beds. Awesome fire place. Back up solar. Wish we could have stayed longer. Patrick was very helpful.

The road to the cottage is not great, however, we managed to get there in a normal vehicle, just need to travel slowly for 6km. Definitely in need of a second toilet.
