Roos Toren is a magnificent square "Tower" towering above its surroundings. This is a place where children can imagine to live in a real live fairy-tail, a square "Tower" a round pool and plenty of places to hide. When you enter the Tower you are in the spacious lounge-kitchen where you will be caught by the joyous colors of the interior and with a comfortable sofa bed.
When you enter the" Tower" you will find on the ground floor one rectangular space that contains the kitchen, the dining area and the lounge area. Through the double doors,you look at the spacious shaded terrace , the garden and the round pool at the other end of the garden. In the lounge area you find the media centre with satellite TV, a portable installation for your Ipod or MP3 player and a DVD player. On the side of the main room is a downstairs bathroom with shower toilet and wash basin and a small separate utility-room.
When you walk through the ground-floor space towards the kitchen you come to the beautiful marble stairway,that brings you to the upper floors. On the first floor you will find the main bedroom with a queen size bed and a large bathroom with shower toilet and a wash basin made from one piece of rock. Opposite the bed is the door to a large balcony where you can sit, drink or lie down in total privacy.
One floor up you find the second bedroom with three single beds and its own bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Here on top of the world you will wake up every morning with the inspiring view of the bay, the village and the other Ionion islands.

In an idyllic setting the property has amazing views and a tranquil ambiance. The drawback is that to get there it’s quite a rough drive. The property is located quite a way out of Vasiliki so the owners arranged to meet us to follow to the property. There are two ways you can get to the villa, one is a very rough dirt track that is not great in a hired car and the other on concreted road is very steep in parts and goes through the owners property which was the route we chose to use. After being a bit daunted by this initially we got use to it and had no problems.
The property itself is worth all the drive to get there. Stunning views and very nicely furnished inside. I loved the main bedroom with windows on three sides and the lovely terrace leading from the French doors. We hadn’t realised that the property had another villa attached and there were also another couple of villas close by but the gardens had been done in such a way that you had total privacy from any neighbours although you could hear them sometimes.
The pool area was lovely but I don’t think the hammocks added anything. They actually blew over in some strong winds we had one night. The solar outside lights on the terrace areas could do with replacing as they don’t work. Pool was cleaned regularly and was a pleasure to dip into. Vasiliki has a beautiful harbour area and the beaches on the west of the island are easy to drive to. Our favourite place was Syvota about 15 min drive away.

We had a wonderful stay in Rose Tower. We were met and guided to the property. Everything was made as easy as possible for us. We were lucky with the weather, given that it was pre season, and were able to enjoy the empty nearby beaches and of course the wonderful pool. The property had everything we needed and was super clean. I have the feeling we’ll be back before too long! Thank you very much.
