The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms which are a super king-size double (zip/link, can be a twin on request, a king-size double and a single room. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside there is roadside parking and an enclosed rear yard with furniture. Silversands Cottage is in a fantastic location just a short walk to the local amenities and the beach.

Historically a centre for boatbuilding, Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters - the daily catch can be bought at a fish shop in the harbour.
