Excellent stay overall! Stelios was fantastic and the property was beautiful and very ideal for a relaxing holiday. My only recommendation is that description of the property should explicitly state that the access to the property really requires a vehicle. Thankfully Stelios really helped us get that organised at the last minute but without the ability to drive/ride a moped you would really struggle to get to and from the property. It wasn't immediately clear to us this was the case so I'd recommend that the listing is updated to express that very clearly. Otherwise the property was absolutely marvellous and we'd happily stay again.

Stelyios, our host at Villa Savvina, had everything in place for our stay. The Villa is lovely, with an unforgettable view of the port. We would definitely come back again!

We were in September for 11 nights in the Villa Savvina and had a wonderful time. By ferry we arrived in Skopelos in the evening, where the owner Stelios welcomed us and accompanied us to the villa. The drive to the villa from the port of Skopelos takes about 15 minutes. It is recommended to rent a car. Later we also rented a scooter (at Magic Cars in Skopelos town; highly recommended) to explore the whole island. The island is beautiful, we were already on many Greek islands, but that was the absolute highlight. There is no mass tourism, no construction sins, the island is heavily wooded, the roads are small and only little used, there are many very beautiful beaches and beautiful places (Glossa is highly recommended). The villa is perfect, situated on top of the hill, with a fantastic view and high privacy. Through the large windows you can enjoy the view from every room. The equipment is modern and as good as new. The garden with pool is also great. Stelios has provided us with some restaurant recommendations which have all been very good. If you have any problems (we didn't have any) you can always contact him, he answers immediately. We can recommend Villa Savvina 100% and hope to be able to go on holiday on Skopelos again in the future.

We just got back from two weeks in Skopelos ( June 2017) staying at Villa Savvina. Our first impression was WOW !! what a villa. beautifully decorated in a modern but comfortable feel with great attention to detail in the design. The views from the open plan lounge kitchen and the 1st floor bedroom are spectacular. we spent many hours just watching the ferry arrive and depart from the port below in the harbour. The grounds and the pool are immaculately kept by the friendly Gardner who visited at least every other day. The villa had everything that you could wish for and we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and some essentials in the fridge. a lovely touch by the owners. A car is essential if you are staying at this Villa and we hired one from Magic cars which happened to be only a couple of doors up from the owners Bakery/Delicatessen (which had some lovely food as we later found out). I have to stay that the villas beauty is only matched by the friendliness and warm welcome that the owners, Illiana and her husband Stelios gave us. What a lovely couple. Thank you both. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were easily contactable. The drive from the port to the villa takes about 15 mins or so and is all uphill as the views will tell you. The roads are pretty good though and only a small section of dirt track is a bit bumpy but you soon get used to it. people drive slowly in Skopelos which was really nice as a tourist and they seem to be so laid back. Skopelos itself, is beautiful and so GREEN. The beaches are pebbly or fine shingle. TIP !! buy beach shoes which make it a lot easier. The food is terrific and although about the same price as England, the quality of food would grace any top restaurant where you would pay twice as much. The supermarket prices are expensive in town but just drive 300 yards out of town and there is petrol garage and supermarket which is markedly cheaper. There are boat trips to be had from town and lovely beaches with crystal clear waters to swim in. Whats not to love. We cannot recommend enough this Stunning Villa and we would not hesitate to rent it out again if we had the opportunity. Thanks again Illiana and Stelios it was a privilege to spend two weeks in such luxury, xx Claire and Andy xx
