Pizzo Beach Club

Pizzo Beach Club itself was pleasant. Two pools were included in the price. The walk to the beach through the trees was beautiful. The beach was very nice, with umbrellas, a lifeguard and showers. The sea and surrounding nature were the best part of the stay. Calabria has beautiful nature, beaches and several towns worth visiting.

The accommodation was very expensive and not worth the money. We paid around €3,200 for 7 nights, and the standard did not match the price. The kitchen was poorly equipped. The cookware and tableware were old and heavily used. The house felt cold and not cosy. The electricity system was very weak. The fuse tripped repeatedly, even when only the dishwasher or washing machine was running and the fridge switched on. I had to reset the electricity around six times. The electricity allowance created unnecessary stress. We were constantly worried about air conditioning and electricity consumption. It was not easy to check the electricity usage because the meter was difficult for us to understand. One upstairs bedroom had no air conditioning. The garden was dry, neglected and not inviting for sitting outside. The internet connection was weak. Waste management was unpleasant and poorly organised. There is no shop directly in the complex. The restaurant Perla is quite far away, nothing special, and the pool there costs extra. The car access card did not always work properly. Overall, the accommodation should cost much less for this standard.

Appartamento climatizzato con patio, lato cottura, lavatrice, in residence chiuso con accesso diretto sul mare attraversando una pineta. Immerso nel verde, con due piscine. Buona gestione complessiva del condominio. Attenzione: il residence non offre postazioni di ricarica per veicoli elettrici.

La cordialità e disponibilità del sigor Salvatore all'inizio e anche della signora Eugenia durante il soggiorno. Inoltre si dispone di tutte le informazioni sia della struttura sia sulle attrazioni della costa degli Dei tramite appositi raccoglitori cartacei. Ci si sente a casa anche se distanti dalla propria.

Bella l'idea di questo condominio super attrezzato. Le due piscine grandi curate e pulite. La casetta che ci ha ospitato era graziosa ed essenziale Eugenia, una persona gentilissima e cordiale.

Nel periodo in cui sono stata (28 Agosto) purtroppo non funzionava il minimarket, e il bar faceva orari ridottissimi. Il ristorante la perla è comodo per una evenienza, ma caro e con qualità non alta.
