The Olive Tree Villa

If you want space and luxury, peace and quiet, and to be away from the touristy parts of Brac, this is the place. Our kids (and us) had hours of fun playing in the incredible pool (true to the photos!) and there were many wonderful beaches a quick drive or 10-20min walk away. The villa is a dream house, the rooms and bathrooms were very high-end, as were the linen and towels, plus lots of beach towels. The wifi was very fast. The aircon worked extremely well in the bedrooms. The ping-pong table, outdoor seating, pool floaties, barbeque and multiple loungers were great. The kitchen was fantastic and very well-equipped, I especially loved the ice machine. The surrounding olive trees and multiple outdoor areas added to the whole peaceful environment. Our host was very attentive and came early in the morning (before we woke up) to clean the pool and refill the wasp traps, so we would wake up to perfection every day :)

The bee wasps were a bit annoying but the villa had traps to mitigate this and the rooster on a nearby farm was very vocal, but hey - you're in nature!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub - gemeinsam mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern! Die Atmosphäre der Villa ist ganz besonders und die Lage und der Blick sind fantastisch! Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der gesamte Buchungsprozess verlief reibungslos! Wir werden wieder hinfahren - in der Hoffnung, dass dieser wunderschöne idyllische Ort genauso bleibt wie er ist!

Absolutely lovely villa in a stunning location with beautiful views and all within a nice walking distance of the beaches and the town itself. We went as two families of 5 (with teenagers) and it was just perfect for us all - everything we needed inside and an idyllic outside area. The hosts are truly amazing too - warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful and informative. We’re now desperate to go back!!!!

The Olive Tree Villa is set above the small and relaxed fishing village of Sumartin, allowing easy access to early morning fresh bread, whilst benefiting from stunning views of the sea and the neighbouring island of Hvar, the sensational smell of the pine forests around the villa and the peace and tranquility of the countryside. There was very little not to like - the bedrooms were all air conditioned, and three of them are en-suite, the kitchen was well equipped and the infinity swimming pool is idyllic. Michelle and Fabian were warm and welcoming hosts and all in all it was a fabulous holiday, which was only marred by a global pandemic!
