Haus Sonnblick Penthouse

Wij verbleven hier twee weken met ons gezin van vier, met twee pubers van 14 en 16 jaar. Werkelijk alles beviel ons. Wij zijn best kritisch en geven eigenlijk nooit een 10, omdat er altijd wel iets te verbeteren valt. Maar Haus Sonnblick Penthouse heeft ons echt verrast. De woning is prachtig, ruim en sfeervol, waardoor ook onze jongens alle ruimte hadden. Alles was zeer compleet ingericht, perfect schoon en verzorgd en het uitzicht en de ligging zijn fantastisch. Ook de gastvrijheid en persoonlijke betrokkenheid van Christina en Matthias maakten het verblijf bijzonder. Hier klopte voor ons werkelijk alles. Een dikke, dikke 10+!

Helemaal niets. En dat zeggen we niet snel. Zelfs na twee weken hebben we oprecht niets kunnen bedenken wat beter had gekund. Het enige nadeel was dat we na 14 nachten weer naar huis moesten. 😉

This apartment is a newly remodelled top level of a 3 story chalet. For the three of us it was sized perfectly: ample kitchen and living room, two good size rooms, third one somewhat smaller. Two of the rooms have sinks, one has a bathtub. We travelled in July 2026 to escape the heat in Vienna and A/C - proper A/C, not some funky European "alternative" - was a big consideration. This place had A/C in every room which we appreciated very much. The place is located at the edge of a village: the atmosphere is very peaceful, it was a perfect place to relax after work / city. Hosts live on the floor below, very accessible and available. Overall, very good balance between comfort, amenities and location.

Nothing big, just some rough edges perhaps. Beds could be softer, plenty of sinks but no soap dispensers, payments are a bit awkward. There is no reason to make a big deal out of the security deposit, and the local tourist tax - a trivial sum in comparison to the total rent - could be included in the price. Bar stools look great but are very uncomfortable.

Die Lage in Reith (Neudorf) ist optimal, in nur wenigen hundert Meter Entfernung findet man zwei gute Restaurants. Die Autobahn im Inntal ist kaum zu hören. Die Ausstattung des Apartments ist außergewöhnlich. Selbst die Kochmesser sind scharf. Weinkühlschrank, Flachbildschirme in jedem Zimmer, Bluetooth-Lautsprecher und Sauna zeigen, dass hier an alles gedacht wurde, was einen Urlaub angenehm macht. Wir hatten unseren einjährigen Enkel dabei. Das zur Verfügung gestellte Kinderbett und der Kinderstuhl waren erstklassig. Die freistehende Badewanne wurde von unserem Enkel intensiv genutzt :-) Die Gastgeber Christina und Matthias sind sehr gastfreundlich, offen, kommunikativ und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

This penthouse was extraordinary in both design and comfort features! It’s a lovely mix of rustic and modern and even includes a sauna! The hosts were very gracious, explained all parts including the very cool fireplace (not real but very soothing). They answered all our questions and gave guidance as to how to go about town. This is a wonderful place to stay!
