Disappointed

Very comfortable, particularly the bed. Breakfast was tasty and well presented..

Lack of warmth and welcome from the staff. No genuine smiles. The welcome felt rehearsed and unnatural which made me feel uncomfortable. The place is nice but lacks soul.. when I communicated with the staff about my disappointment regarding the spa which I found disappointingly cold.. the response was one of disinterest. Clients should be informed that the jacuzzi remains at 35 degrees and the hamman is not hot enough to perspire. If you order food in the evening you will be charged 10 Euros just to have your food brought to your room. It is written in small writing on the menu. .

A wonderful location to explore western Brittany.

The breakfast was excellent. Quimper is an excellent location for exploring both north and west and also south in Brittany. The location right next to the river provided an excellent pathway to the centre of town and the excellent restaurants each side of the river.

As we were driving through Brittany, having a hotel with in-site parking was ideal for safety and convenience. We stayed in the grounds in a quirky two-storey apartment: large bed upstairs with TV m, whilst bathroom/shower and reception area plus clothes rail and safe, wee located downstairs. The bed is probably too close to the staircase as there’s a risk of you waking up and forgetting that the downstairs stairs are a couple of feet from your bed, so we slept with a sidelight on. The safe didn’t work, but pleased that reception came with instructions to sort it out for us. She also provided an extra duvet. NB maybe keep a spare duvet and pillows in the apartment. Location: 15/20 min walk to medieval centre but no bother as a pleasant and interesting walk by the river.

Maybe have the option to have a porch light on by the door; as electrics are powered by the hey card, it was v dark when we came back at night.

Modern and clean property with parking. Close to museums and within a good walk to the cathedral.

The hotel and property were lovely, with a beautiful garden and examples of embroidery from the local embroidery school. The excellent staff person, Martin, who greeted us and took care of us, was very kind, friendly, and helpful, answering with great patience all of our questions about the hotel, the food, and the area.

Very quiet location . Very comfortable bed with quality linen. Excellent breakfast. Close to town centre and very close to pottery museum and factory.

Lovely welcome, cosy and perfect for enjoying the river!

Lovely welcome and enjoyed the location near the river away from the busier parts of town but only a short walk to the sights. Room was very comfortable, felt like a little cosy cottage. Nice to have breakfast outside in the courtyard in the sunshine too!

Quality hotel in good location

Smart hotel located in an old part of town. Parking at the front of the hotel. Upmarket decor in the room, although the remote light switches were a bit of a useless gimmick. 10 mins walk along river to main town centre.

River view not so good from ground floor, as hedges etc in the way - upper floors would be ok.

Lovely duplex room. Amazing location. Very nice breakfast.

It was extremely hot when we stayed and as there was no aircon in the room we were so hot we barely slept. The bathroom downstairs was cool, but the bedroom upstairs was boiling.

What a great find, in a lovely location and a short 15 min walk along river to old part of town. Loved the comfort 2 story room we were in.

Great hotel, convenient location!

The hotel was lovely. And small.We were upgraded to a junior suite which was large and nicely furnished with a coffee maker. Breakfast was great. The location worked well for us as we had parking and there is a wonderful restaurant next door. The faience museum and shop is just a few steps away as is a square that is on the river with cafes and bars. It’s a 15 minute walk to town.

We request reimbursement of $100.

6 rooms not ensuite because bathroom is on different floor from bedroom and these 2 rooms are connected by steep twisty & narrow stairs. We are 80 and 83 years old and did not know the rooms were like this. A safety hazard at our age. The manager said only room available was $ 50 per night more. We do not think it right for us to pay $100 more I have photos of stairs. Do not know how to send you. Photos are on an email so I can send as attachment.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The decor was beautiful. The property had two different outdoor areas. very nice property we would stay again.
