Amagatay Luxury Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

The staff were very welcoming and upbeat, they clearly wanted to make certain we had a good time. The gardens are beautifully maintained and relaxing. Various different places to sit or recline. The pool is a good size and clean with plenty of exceptionally dreamy lounging beds. Plenty of shaded area too. Particularly liked the outdoor bar, a lovely place for sundowners. The restaurant under the olive trees with its delicate lighting is delightful.

We did point out that later in the season when possible raining that the soft seating area outside the room gets wet and unusable. Ideally glass or clear Perspex could be positioned over the cane shading to stop the cushioning getting soaked. They did however bring a change of cushioning when asked. The breakfasts are terrific and plentiful. The restaurant serves a varied menu and very nicely presented although rather priced and we may have eaten more often in the restaurant if a few less expensive dishes.

Beautiful hotel, tastefully done, with very friendly staff and lovely facilities. The staff were very helpful and cheerful, and were great at sorting out restaurant bookings and providing recommendations for our stay.

As the lovely guest experiences manager warned us, service around the pool was pretty slow / patchy, but when a waiter did appear they were very friendly and once an order was made it came very quickly. A few times there were mistakes made in our orders which I think just went to the fact that they were taking lots of orders at once in a short period of time. The only other downside was a subtle but present smell of drains in the room which might be to do with the open bathroom design, or the rural location with tricky sewage systems, both of which I have sympathy with!

I felt pampered. Tha staff is exceptional.

Nothing.

Great food, wonderful location, totally stylish place, friendly, very lovely staff

We had an issue with the shower in the room which leaked all over the place. The staff were slightly dismissive when we raised this - sort of ‘it is what it is’ vibe. But when we raised it again before checking out they gave us a 15 percent discount which we thought was great, a very cool gesture, which made us leave with very good memories of a great hotel
