Top Deck is an above average home - a large beautifully presented luxurious bungalow overlooking the sea and valley, where everything has been thought of to make your holiday as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Refurbished and re-decorated throughout with new carpets last year.

Fully kitted out designer kitchen as used by the owner on a regular basis.

It has a private garden with stone-built barbecue, large sun trapped deck area, loungers, al fresco dining - with umbrellas for sun protection.

2 bathrooms with power showers, continuous hot water - and 3 bedrooms (kings or twins!) for six people.

Large sitting room with exceptional views. Parking for two cars + street parking

You are five minutes walk to a charming village and waterfront and quaint harbour with a protected beach. There is a village shop and various cafes.

A boutique hotel and restaurant is just 200 metres away. A traditional English pub is 3 minutes drive away in Gorran Churchtown, an adjacent village.

Lovely beach and cliff walks are close by. There are many beaches and amazing places to visit on the Roseland Peninsula, where Gorran Haven is at the top end.

Cornwall's main attractions are not far away: The Eden Project some 20 minutes away; the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 10 minutes away and Truro, the county town, 25 minutes away.

Several supermarkets are based in St Austell, 20 minutes away - some 24 hour. Deliveries can be made on your arrival. Speak to the owner after booking.

Just a 40-minute drive from the A30. About the same from Newquay airport.

Peaceful comfortable bungalow with lovely views from the lounge of nearby hills and the sea across a few village roofs. The beds were very comfortable, but the settees were a bit low. N.B. Lack of grab rails in bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped, with plenty of storage and fridge space and a large induction hob. Thanks to our host Peter for his very detailed information on all sorts of relevant matters. The weather was poor, cool and damp, not encouraging to sitting on one of the fine beaches in the area. but the Wifi was excellent and the TV (Freeview) was fine. We watched a lot of football and tennis! We enjoyed some good meals out e.g. at the Llawnroc Hotel and the Crown Inn in St.Ewe. Thanks very much to our host for doing his best to ensure a good holiday.

This was a return visit to Gorran Haven, which we loved so much on a visit last year, but a first at Top Deck. It was the perfect property for our stay, great location, lovely views, spacious living space and brilliantly equipped. So many details that other rental properties lack .... like beach towels, little containers with a few dishwasher and washing machine tablets to see us through the week, a brilliantly equipped kitchen, various games and toys to keep the children entertained. Peter was so helpful before our stay too providing us with great directions and useful information and tips for the local area. It all made for a wonderful week and made us love Gorran Haven even more. My youngest son within minutes of arriving said 'Mummy I love it here already.' We will be back. Thank you so much.

Top deck was a fabulous base to explorer Cornwall. Very comfortable with the all important WiFi. House has fantastic views over the village and to the sea. Highly recommended.

Peter is a really helpful and welcoming host. The bungalow is bright, spacious and well equipped. The beds are really comfortable and the 2 bathrooms are modern and spacious. There is a big fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and drier, all are easy to use and very efficient. We loved the outside space with the generous deck and views of sea and countryside. It was incredibly peaceful and easy to sleep. Two parking spaces on drive are very easy. We would have liked the option to recycle at the bungalow but understand that the local system is quite complicated and cumbersome. We saved everything up and brought it home to recycle instead. The Llawnroc hotel is a couple of minutes walk and we found their meals excellent, much better than we expected from the Tripadvisor reviews. The Gorran Haven fish and chip shop is superb, we thought they were the best we’ve ever tasted. The Crown Inn at St Ewe is also very tasty but about a 12 minute drive. We weren’t so keen on the Barleysheaf at Gorran Churchtown, they seem to put tourists in a rather soulless upstairs converted meeting room for meals. We had lovely weather in early September and really enjoyed Lamorran Gardens, Trengwainton, Trebah and the Tremenheere sculpture gardens. A pod type coffee machine would have been really lovely for a first coffee on the sunny deck, apart from that we could want for nothing. Thank you.
