About this apartment rental
This upscale 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront ground floor corner unit is located on Kauai's beautiful east shore, the famous 'Royal Coconut Coast'. It is one of the few condos at Kaha Lani that enjoys the best views of the ocean. There is nothing between your lanai and the ocean to obstruct the panoramic view.
You'll find yourself falling into a deep sleep on the new Cal King mattress (purchased 2025) and awakening to unforgettable sunrises every morning looking out over the ocean as you enjoy your morning coffee.
The property has a tennis court, a heated swimming pool and BBQ grills, all for your enjoyment as well as a full kitchen outfitted to meet the needs of a family or a couple on a romantic getaway. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear and wheeled cart are provided.
One of the unique and wonderful things about this resort is it's central location on the island. It is almost the exact mid-point between the Waimea Canyon on the west side, and the Hanalei/Princeville area on the north shore…you’re at least half way to anywhere on the island you wish to explore. You’re also minutes away from the airport, shops and restaurants of Kapaa and a Safeway!
At the same time it is one of the only resorts that is private and secluded, located far from the hustle and bustle of the dense condo resort neighborhoods on Kauai. That is because Kaha Lani is tucked away between the acres of Lydgate Park to the north and the quietude of Wailua Golf Course to the south. Very little ambient light dims the view of the star-filled night sky.
In the winter months, your lanai is a "front row seat" for watching the gray whales splash and spout as they reach their winter home of Hawai. For beach lovers, the beach is steps from the lanai and stretches south for 3 miles. For cyclists, walkers and joggers, there is a paved bike path that stretches north for 7 miles. Within a ten minute walk of the resort, you can visit Lydgate Beach Park with its protected swimming lagoons (replete with fish that makes for fun and easy snorkeling) and a short drive to the highly rated public Wailua Golf Course, the Wailua River where you can kayak, Opaekaa Falls, Sleeping Giant hiking trails and so much more.
Soak up some sun at the pool, enjoy the beach, play a game of tennis, or just do nothing at all. The memories you make while on vacation at Kaha Lani will be the ones you'll cherish for a lifetime.

Great view from lanai--very beautiful!--good location, clean, comfortable. The only problem was that it didn't have air conditioning. Enjoyed the walkway along the water that led to Lydgate Beach Park--lovely!

Great condo in an amazing location. Easy walk to the beach and you can enjoy the ocean views from the lanai. Super cute place with everything you need! Even had beach chairs, umbrella & toys. We left snorkels and masks behind to add to their beach closet too. Condo was very clean when we arrived. No complaints from us.

Was advertised as a 2 king bed 2 bath. We walked in to a king and 2 twin beds. I called, and they said they would push the 2 twins together to make a king, which they did. A minor hassle. We were asked if we "requested" 2 king beds. I didn't know we had to request it since it was listed that way?
The kitchen cabinets are falling off and in disrepair. The stainless steel appliances were rusty from the salt water.. understandable but looks like garbage. Any food on the top shelf of the fridge will freeze. Maybe it's time for a new one.
(We had a 10 day stay and we're not left with enough paper essentials such as paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper).
For the price, I would think all of these essentials would be included.
There aren't any spices, oil, ice cube trays etc. be prepared to buy your own.
Overall the furniture was dated and not comfortable at all. Glad we spent most of our time out adventuring.
The roosters will wake you up loudly every morning right outside the bedroom windows so hopefully you don't want to sleep in.
The pool was average, no hot tub.
The beach access walkway out front had caved in and was roped off, you could get around it but an eye sore. The beach is beautiful, rugged and only swimmable if you're a strong swimmer.
Would I stay again? Probably not.
