Our stay at Almograve House was good. If you're hiking the Fisherman's Trail it's about a 15 minute walk from town. The house was big for just two people. But, we were happy to have access to a washing machine and close line on the back terrace so we could do laundry mid-way through our hike. The Nepalese restaurant across the street, Mar Azul, was a perfect spot to grab a delicious meal.

Good location. Easy check in. Spacious. Excellent amenities including things that are great for hikers: backyard with hose to wash off boots, washing machine and clothesline.
No wi-fi, though proprietor says it is coming soon. A mix up concerning not enough bed linens, which frankly wouldn’t have been a problem if we’d had wi-fi. The proprietor tried to contact us to make sure we got in OK and everything was all right but we didn’t get the communication until the next day. Also, there was no soap in the dispensers.
