Good location friendly host

This is a wonderful 2nd floor apartment in a quiet but accessible location and so well equipped. We have been renting holiday apartments and villas for over 30 years and we would rate this one as probably the top of our list. OK, it doesn’t have a sea view but its location in a quiet residential road at the edge of town is as perfect as one can get for walking along the amazing coast path; exploring the old town of Porec and visiting the Supermarket which is only 6 mins walk away. The apartment is large, exceptionally well fitted out and with a kitchen that has everything you could possibly want including a big fridge and freezer. The large outdoor veranda with table & chairs is ideal for eating outside. It also has a couple of lounge chairs and it gets the sun from early afternoon till dusk. The proprietor lives in the apartment underneath and is the most wonderful and helpful man who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. His hobby is making wines and Schnapps and his guests are well looked after with regular tasting sessions! For anyone thinking this apartment could be too far out of the historic old town then think again. It takes 6 mins easy walk from the apartment to reach the sea and coast path with its bars and restaurants. From here it is a scenic 5 min walk along the coast path to the edge of the old town making it an 11 min pleasant stroll (except you will probably want to stop for a coffee or a cocktail at one of the three or more bars you will pass on the way!). However, should you be in a hurry you can walk along the road (pavements and crossings all the way) and arrive at the same spot after 8 mins. We stayed for 10 days and could easily have stayed a month its so comfy.
