About this house rental
The Podere Piaggette di Segalari is located in the hills overlooking the sea, has been renovated by dividing the ancient manor farm into two comfortable independent apartments. Surrounded by a hundred year old olive grove offers moments of true relaxation and full immersion in nature and silence.
From the hill on which the house is built, the surrounding landscape is dominated, ranging from the village of Castagneto Carducci to the sea, on clear days it is possible to see the islands of the Tuscan archipelago.
A perfect place for outdoor grilling and enjoying both the sea and the countryside. The surrounding forest allows many walks and cycle routes. The house also has a large outdoor courtyard, with two bathrooms with showers and toilets.

Perfect stay for a couple or a group of friends. The house is stunning and in a very nice area – only olive trees around you :) You do need a car though. The beach is about 15mins away and there are several supermarkets and small bars/restaurants nearby.
10/10 would recommend.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön ruhig inmitten eines Olivenhaines einige Km entfernt von der kleinen Ortschaft Castagneto. Es hat einen großen Garten/Hof mit Liegen, Tisch und Stühlen und Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Haus. Wenn man schattig sitzen möchte, gibt es noch eine schöne Pergola mit einem großen Tisch mit Steinplatte. Zum Grillen gibt es einen gemauerten Steingrill im Hof. Es ist herrlich ruhig und man kann wunderbar entspannen!
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und das Haus ist mit dem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Küche hat einen Gasherd, für den morgendlichen Kaffee steht eine kleine Mokkakanne bereit (Bialetti). Wer Filterkaffee bevorzugt, sollte sich eine elektr. Kaffeemaschine oder Filterhalter und Filter zum Überbrühen selbst mitbringen. Handyempfang ist kein Problem, Wlan gibt es allerdings nicht im Haus. Im Haus sind zwei Ferienwohnungen, die durch eine verschlossene Verbindungstür getrennt sind. Bis zu den nächsten freien Stränden bei Donoratico sind es ca. 8Km/ mit dem Auto ca. 15 Minuten, aber dies nahmen wir für die Ruhe und die angenehme Atmosphäre gerne in Kauf. Der letzte Km von der Landstraße bis zum Haus ist sehr eng und der Weg ist schmal mit Schlaglöchern, so dass man vorsichtig fahren muss. Aber das ist fast immer so, wenn man zu den Häusern in den Hügeln mit einer schönen Aussicht möchte und nach eingen Mal hoch und runter fahren hat man sich daran gewöhnt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße
