Periwinkle EUTOPIA in the middle of Valle d'Itria

We had a very pleasant, quiet, and relaxing time at Eutopia. The location is wonderful, the pool is lovely and very clean. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.

‘Pervinca’ is the smallest gite of a total of four rental properties situated on an expansive private area of garden and countryside. Throughout our stay the owners were on-site and available to give assistance. ‘Pervinca’ has a small, basic kitchen with a two gas burner hob and a small microwave only. There were limited number of glasses, cups and cutlery, but sufficient pots, pans, and crockery although this was a mixed selection and mostly chipped and cracked. The main attraction for our stay was EUTOPIA’s delightful swimming pool, whose elevated position behind the Trullo ‘Solaria’ offered extensive views over the surrounding countryside. Use of the pool required a swimming cap. We spent most of our time relaxing outdoors. Fortunately the weather was reasonable with only a few days of rain. Whilst we would have liked to have stayed indoors more, especially after dark when mosquitos were active, there was no sofa only an wooden bench on which we placed a throw and the garden furniture cushions to make more comfortable. The website stated access to a hot tub but this was actually an integral part of the nearby Trullo ‘Malvarosa’. Apart from a family staying at ‘Malvarosa’ for one week we were the only guests on site throughout. This we very much enjoyed. One area to highlight is the extensive use of video surveillance cameras which was not mentioned on the website.
