The place is beautiful in a country club high up the mountains 30 minutes from airport. The caretaker Mr. Basil is a great person. The place is quiet, peaceful and secure. The pool is a few minutes down the hill, better get a local taxi to take you for the trip up & down. There are a few local taxis available, whom you can hire for trips downtown. But I would rather recommend using best rated apps from google i.e 876 on the go, or on time taxis. Our local taxi driver was bit unprofessional, I found the cab company drivers were more reliable and professional. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the place, but prepare beforehand with small details for the trip.

I liked the security and safety of the compound.
The phone service is really bad. It was difficult to make calls to Trinidad using my cell phone.
