Dimora storica, appartamento in Villa Pampinuccia

The apartment is spacious and very clean. Everything you need is provided in the apartment. Beautiful antique furnishings and fun Italian design in the kitchen and bathrooms. The air conditioning is a big plus in the hot August weather of this region and it’s also very quiet. Also the window shutters close to keep the hot sun out keeping the space cooler. We were comfortable inside the apartment.

There are primarily two items that were bothersome. The gardens have visibly not been taken care of much. The entrance is not pleasant and messy. There are animal feces in the grass in different areas that have not been cleaned, in the hot sun the smells can be a bother to some people. The weeds have overgrown parts of the garden, furnishings rusted and in some places trash lying around. Seems like an abandoned place, nothing like in the photos in the listing. Also, the listing does not mention animals, but there are dogs and a cat in case some people may have allergies. The other item made us feel quite uncomfortable. The day after our arrival we prepared breakfast and departed to Venice to tour the city. It’s one hour away. Before coming home we received a message from the owner asking if we were in the attic of the house and how can she help us. She also forwarded a picture of the lights on in the attic. One, we felt as we were being accused by the owner and two, it’s was worrisome if we didn’t go there, what else or who else may have been at the house while we were away. This was never clarified.

The whole property is beautiful and the owners were very nice. The villa is kind of hidden in the outskirts of Bassano. You do need a car to reach and move around. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. It is within a huge property with a nice garden. The owners live there. Decorations are classic, but nice, and everything is well equipped and functional. The kitchen had everything, including a very generous set of cooking stuff, oil, aceto, coffee, tea...

The location for us worked well since we were driving. But it might not be that convenient otherwise.

Ein traumhaft schönes Anwesen. Das Appartement ist sehr großzügig, schön und sinnvoll möbliert und die Küchenausstattung perfekt. In ruhiger Lage mit 30 Minuten Fußweg nach Bassano Altstadt oder 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Gastgeberin war super nett. Wir empfehlen es sehr!
