Cabañas Tico Gringo

The location is excellent. Tico Gringo and Sonia have created a little wildlife sanctuary right outside the balcony of the cabins with a beautiful garden and so many gorgeous birds and other wildlife. The hosts know everyone in town and will arrange any experience you would like including visiting the mangroves, Corcovado park, night tours, beaches, or fishing or snorkeling.

Nothing, all was excellent.

We had a great time staying in their guest house. They were a wonderful hosts and they arranged our airport, transportation and activities for us. Whenever we had a question they responded very quickly. There are good restaurants within walking distance and you can walk to the beach in about 15 minutes. I would recommend staying here!

Excellent apartment in every way - comfortable bed, great cooking equipment, secure parking, quiet location with short walking distance to town so easy to get to tours/restaurants/boat transfer. Super friendly and helpful hosts, Yeinner showed us lots of animals on the property, and also allowed us to park our car and store luggage an extra day for free whilst we were in Corcovado. Easy to find and welcoming check in. Thank you so much!

The apartment we stayed in was super spacious and had a great kitchen. The AC in the bedrooms worked really well and it was an ideal place to rest after a trip to Corcovado. However, the best thing about the place is the owners, who are really kind and helpful - we especially enjoyed the free ride to and from the ferry in their golf cart! They provide plenty of free drinking water and clean the rooms every other day, which is great.

It is a 15 minute walk downhill to the beach, but definitely manageable.
