About this house rental

Casa Nuno & Lorena, is a house (licensed in 2014 by local authorities for tourist purposes and with excellent conditions) with 2 bed rooms (ideal for 4/5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children)), comfortable and with new furniture and modern, recent construction with good finishes, 2 bedrooms with large double bed, 2 living rooms with cable TV, one on the ground floor and another on the upper floor overlooking the part behind the house, with panoramic view of the pineapple greenhouses and all its surrounding area, in this room has a sofa bed that can be transformed into an extra bed for 2 children or 1 adult person. We also have articulated bed if necessary with the dimensions in meters (1,90x0,80). Wireless Internet.
The modern fitted kitchen with all necessary appliances. A bathroom with a window to the outside, bath and shower, bidet.
The house is situated on the south coast of the island of São Miguel, between parishes and parish of Faja de Baixo, known for its pineapple plantations in glass greenhouses and the parish of San Roque with its beautiful volcanic black sand beaches.
Its strategic location allows quick access to all major points of interest on the island.
It is just 50 meters from the bus stop bound for Ribeira Grande and Ponta Delgada, 500 meters south of the road from the bus stop in the direction of Vila Franca and Ponta Delgada
Its location is just 3 kms from the center of the largest and main city of the island of Sao Miguel, Ponta Delgada. The 750 meters from the sea and 1. 500 meters from beaches.
If you decide not to rent a car from the airport, there is a rent-a-car company 50 meters from the house with accessible and compatible prices.
Parking facilities in front of the house or near always available and free.

There are not enough positive words, in English, Portuguese, or any other language, to describe how fantastic my stay here has been. The house and garden are beautiful, the location is great (easy to get anywhere from here, but nice to be away from downtown). Nuno and Lorena went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. It has really felt like home (I'm here for work), I'm sad to leave, and I will be forever grateful.

We enjoyed our 11 days at this very clean, tidy, and well-appointed house. The outside area at the back of the house is very warm, welcoming, and relaxing. The only negative was the noise of the cars passing just outside the window. Even so, we loved the house and it's close proximity to Ponta Delgada. The beach below the church in Sao Roque (just a ten to 15 minute walk from the house) is must-see for visitors to the island and the walk way along the ocean is one of the prettiest anywhere. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property. Just remember to bring earplugs if you have a low tolerance for traffic noise.

We stayed 8 nights with two teenage kids.. Sparkling clean and cozy apartment, loved Nuno’s thoughtfulness with providing itinerary suggestions and Restaruant recommendations. Found really good TV channel that showed our favorite movies:) But mostly we were out and about exploring the island. Location is convenient, close to Ponta Delgada center (about 7-10 min by car), same for Lagoa. Several nice public beaches nearby to swim and relax after a day of exploring the amazing nature of Sao Miguel.

This is the first time weve chosen to rent a home instead of a hotel. Nuno and Lorraine have been the most hospitable and absolutely lovely host and hostess we could have asked for. Nuno was there for us right from day one. He gave us guidance, maps, advice and picked us up when we got lost! We are grateful to have found such a spotless, warm home just steps from anywhere you want to go and convenient to any location to visit. Thank-you Nuno and Lorraine for all you did for us, we look forward to staying at Nuno House and Lorraine on our next visit to beautiful Sao Miguel.Joe and Elena
