Just three kilometers from Palau city center, in a panoramic position in front of the La Maddalena Archipelago Marine Park, stands the private residential tourist resort of Porto Rafael. Discovered, conceived and founded around 1960 by the noble Spaniard of Count Berlanga Don Rafael Neville, the area, which has always been the destination of national and international tourism, is made up of exclusive villas and some small apartment houses that, the visitor's eye, are well hidden and camouflaged in the rich and thick Mediterranean scrub of junipers, olive trees and beautiful blooming bougainvillea. Its secluded, sandstone granite coves ensure adequate privacy and privacy. In the center of the district is a small square surrounded by an almost circular porch and facing a beach; the home of its founder, ironically by the same baptized "Town Hall-Hotel"; a small church dedicated to Santa Rita and various commercial activities. It also has a small pleasure boat called the "Yacht Club".

This was a great little place - it sleeps 5 but the downstairs is more like a basement than a room although functional and beautifully renovated. We did not use it. We enjoyed the upstairs and the view it offered. The only real negative is when we arrived (at night and hence in the dark) it was really hard to find but luckily the guard guided us to the apartment.

Wir waren dort in den Pfingstferien. Es war sehr schön. Der Vermieter hat sich immer sehr schnell um Fragen usw. gekümmert. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Die Lage ist toll. Der Blick fantastisch.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder dort hinfahren.

Des maisonnettes construites en hauteur qui permettent une vu fantastique!
avec salon et terrasse une chambre, petite cuisine, petite douche.
au RC chambre 3 lits complètement indépendante avec douche qui donne sur l'extérieur.
Les propriétaires très présent si besoin, réponse rapide.

Lovely villa set in beautiful gardens. Breakfast on the terrace is a must with fabulous views across the bay to Palau.
