It is a beautiful little cabin, equipped with everything you need for a couple of days in the swiss alps. We stayed there in January and the heating was very good, it also had a nice fireplace. Lago Maggiore and Lucomagno pass are easily reachable and the town of Ludiano is also very nice.

This tiny Rustico was well equipped and a perfect starting point for us regarding all activities around Ticino area. Alessandro and his wife were very kind and always available if we needed them.

This little and cosy "rustico" was so nice to stay in. We loved our first experience with our children (6 and 8) in a house of stone. There are several hiking routs from the house and close by and nice places to visit (Filovia...), the river is in foot distance and the very welcome refreshing or just a beauty for the eye. The garden to the house is huge and really i little paradise. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and welcomed us very warm. We can only recommand it to other natur-lovers.

Charming. Great hosts. Lovely area with fantastic walks. Two recommendations for the future. 1) would recommend directions as 'Via di Chiesa, Next to church in Ludiano' - I found it difficult to find as I put in Serravale-Ludiano into Google. Host very friendly and helped us. 2) Fit a booster to access internet from host's home. Host was very generous in letting us access his internet. Thankyou. We would certainly return again if the opportunity arose.

Alessandro is the ideal landlord, helpful and present when needed, and discreet for the rest of the time. The house and garden are a dream. I recommend the place for chilling out and enjoying nature, for sports, and for culinary reasons. Good food supply close-by (butchery Cavargna), and lot of local wine at supermarkets . Swimming in the river is a reason on its own to come here. Restaurant grotto Milani is another one... I recommend the house for couples or families alike. (donˋt bring toys, there is a shed full of it).

We loved the property. It was very comfortable , It was like a home away from home . The laid back feeling was really nice including the fire place which we really enjoyed .The surroundings and views were incredible. The landlord was very friendly , he had left everything we needed; the water was warm , there was cutlery , there was warmth e.c.t . We would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a bit of a rest as we would love to go again . The property was very near big cities and towns , which is really nice if you would like to pass by somewhere else as well . My 19-year-old son and I spent almost two weeks in this rustico in Ludiano. The two week holiday was just about perfect. We wanted a quiet place to relax and go walking. The house and setting are even prettier and more picturesque than the pictures suggest. There is a fanatastic view of the mountains from the garden and through the upstairs windows of the house. The whole area is wonderfully verdant. The garden is large, nicely maintained, full of flowers and birds with a large shady tree in the middle, and a fig tree. There are plenty of garden chairs, a hammock and so on. We tended to eat outside. There are two bikes. I find it hard to imagine anyone not loving this place. There are great walks in all directions, and you can either stay in the valley which is not too strenuous or go hiking in the mountains. The house is as as described in the specs. I am 1. 93m but had no problem with the slightly lower ceilings (1. 95m) downstairs and the relatively narrow staircase. The house furnishings are appropriate to a rustico: well-made, straightforward and tasteful. The cottage is thoughtfully equipped with just about everything you might need during a holiday. There are also some family games, a largish collection of local maps and brochures. If you like you can get a Swisscom telephone and internet smartphone card in Biasca at the Mobilezone shop for 2 Euros a day, and this is fine for general-purpose internet surfing. We rented this rustico in part because of the very positive comments in these reviews about Sandro. He is not only helpful with practical questions, but obviously wants you to enjoy your holiday, and could not be kinder or more thoughtful. Summary: great cottage, fantastic location, and a charming host. I look forward to returning in future years!

The "sentieros" were nice to go for a walk with my dog, the near small river ideal to cool our feet. Although I live in an aera with mountains, yours here up to the Lukmanier Pass are also great ! "Mille grazie" , I hope I will come back sometime again !

What you see is what you get: a small, cute, private 'mountain refuge'. We visited this nice house in september with an 8 months old baby. We brought our own campingbed for the baby, because the house is not equipped for families with babies. We chose this house because of the environnement and there's nothing said too much about it. The surrounding is breathtaking. When you like hiking, you'll absolutely have an awesome time. The pictures of this house show exactly what you might expect. The garden is nice, kitchen is just enough to make a simple dinner (only the toaster we could not use, because of the differences in socket / electrical plug). There was some dust on the floor in the corners and under the beds, but not insuperable. The house was clean and also the bathroom was. For the temperature, it was not necessary, but for some cosiness it was nice to have a fireplace. Wood is included, good service! Ludiano is a small village, it's nice to visit on of the typical Grotto restaurants. We went to Grotto Spruch to have some wine and antipasti. So, if you are not looking for a luxury jetset holiday, but you prefer pure nature and some silence, then think about visiting this cute cottage. Allessandro is a friendly, helpful man. Thank you for the prosecco and sharing your beautiful place with us!

We (3 people) had an awesome one week stay in this cottage in the village of Ludiano. Knowing the canton of Ticino for beeing one of the most beautiful areas of Switzerland we went there to spent our time with hiking/ cycling as well as to have a short time-out from urban life. The cottage itself offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and has a garden perfect for having a barbecue and enjoying the sun. It is situated at the end of the village so it is very quiet and offers a lovely view into the valley with sheep and cows grazing on the meadow. We were specifically searching for a cottage that represents the regional architecture and just makes you feel cosy after beeing outdoors all day. We definitely found what we were looking for! In the village we discovered a restaurant ( they are called grotto) with excellent food. Supermarkets are easy to reach by bike or car. On our hiking excursions (there are several trails for every level of fitness) we experienced a marvelous flora and faune. Thanks very much to the friendly and helpful owner, it was just great, we would like to come again!
