We loved our stay in Mijas. The apartment is very nice and clean. We could walk to town and many great restaurants. We hiked from the top of town to the little church and then went even higher. Stunning views, highly recommend the hike.

This property was absolutely perfect for our time in Mijas. The apartment is truly lovely and artistically furnished. It was also extremely well supplied.The view from the balcony was magnificent at sunrise and sunset.. It was a truly remarkable stay.

Only a few days but it was excellent. A well kept apartment, with beautiful views and an easy walkable access to the village centre. The flat décor was modern and attractive; the outside terrace was of a decent size. The hosting was just enough and allowed us to enjoy the facilities with ease. We will return.

This exceeded our expectations. Great host and Maite was not only a lovely woman, but great at her job. She messaged us on the day, offering to meet us on the edge of the village to help us get to the property but it was fairly simple. The apartment was perfect for us, well kitted out, air con great and electric shutters were brilliant. The village was just beautiful… live music a couple of nights “, live flamenco show in the square … just gorgeous!

The property was exactly as stated, in fact better. Very tastefully furnished, great size balcony with spectacular views. Ian was very prompt at answering questions and his apartment manager Maite organised a taxi each way for us.

Second visit to this wonderful apartment. The apartment has been totally renovated since our last visit and puts it on another level. Communication from Ian the owner is excellent. You are greeted at the apartment by Maite . Nothing is to much trouble for her. Mijas Pueblo is beautiful. All in all a fantastic apartment in a stunning location

It’s a great position for access to the Pueblo square we spent lots of time on the balcony. I really liked the shower in the main bedroom. Maite is a breeze to deal with. Can’t lose here

Excellent property and location, worth staying there, great view. Not really a criticism but having larger bath towels would have been helpful!!

This was our second stay and it did not disappoint. The apartment had everything you need and things you didn’t even know you needed! Tranquil and beautiful location but just a few minutes walk up hill to the centre of Mijas Pueblo with the shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to get around on local transport, or there’s a garage if you have a car. Wonderful.

Instructions for use of washing machine and oven would have been useful although we figured them out. No washing machine detergent. DVD was not hooked up properly so that sound quality was poor.

We loved our 5 night stay in this comfortable apartment with amazing views. The village itself is so quaint, with narrow streets lined with colorful flower pots and stunning views around every corner. We enjoyed having our coffee and cava on the deck at the apartment while watching the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. Mijas was a great home base with day trips to Ronda, Nerja, Marbella and Torremolinos all easy to get to. The nice pool area was a bonus! Would definitely recommend booking here, Maite and Ian were easy to communicate with and made the whole process very easy, thank you!

Amazing apartment in a great location. Five minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Mijas with the shops, bars and restaurants, but the apartment itself is tranquil with wonderful views from the roof terrace down to the coast. Apartment has everything you could possibly need, is beautifully furnished, modern and comfortable. We loved it and will definitely be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mijas Pueblo! The wonderful views are exactly as shown and the apartment is well outfitted. The apartment location is very peaceful despite the proximity to the bustling tourist town. It’s more ‘touristy’ than we expected but we quickly learned our way around some sneaky paths. (Be prepared - the roads are tight for driving and it isn’t really flat anywhere for walking.) It’s a great base to visit Fuengirola, Malaga and Marbella. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The apartment was spotless and so well equipped. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Mijas. The pool was an excellent added extra - warm enough even in mid October. Lovely balcony with great views and a really comfy bed. The parking space was also useful. Lots of places to visit for days out but we just loved being in the apartment and in Mijas.

We had a brilliant time at this fantastic apartment. It was so comfortable and equipped with absolutely everything we needed . The views were lovely and it was so bright and welcoming . Fantastic check in from Maite and all communication with owner was super too . We felt privileged to be in Mijas for the start of the Easter celebrations and absolutely loved the restaurants and general ambience of the village . Thank you and we hope to be back soon .

This is a fantastic property to enjoy a restful holiday in a truly idyllic location. It is just a few minutes walk in to town. The apartment has everything you should need including a large balcony with comfortable furniture and a truly spectacular view of the south side of fuengirola and the sea. The apartment even had some binoculars so you could look at the view in detail. You will have good communication with your host who is very helpful. I would be happy to come again.

The apartment is really lovely, home from home with everything you need. Location was great with the amenities of Mijas a 5 min walk away. The pool area is idyllic for a quiet sunbath or a splash about in the pool. I can’t fault one thing from our holiday, from start to finish we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended to all!

We have just returned recently from a very enjoyable 11 day holiday in Mijas, based in Ian's lovely apartment which is exactly as described on the HomeAway website. Its location on the edge of the village is beautiful, with panoramic views right down to the Costa del Sol. The apartment itself is modern and spacious with large balcony furnished both for eating and relaxing. The interior is tastefully decorated, has a really well equipped kitchen, and a fantastic master suite. The swimming pool at rooftop level is a real bonus, - a lovely pool and an immaculately kept surrounding area with sun loungers and sunshades. The apartment is ideally located, a steep but pleasant 5 minute walk into the village which, although busy with tourists, we were delighted to find has retained much of its character - we spent many hours exploring the myriad of cobbled streets and pathways and also took time to visit the local museums and the Contemporary Art Centre, all worth a visit. Eating out in Mijas was a real treat, given the range of cafes and restaurants and we also enjoyed doing some 'home cooking' using fresh local produce from the lovely municipal market on Calle San Pilar just a few minutes from the apartment. We didn't hire a car on this holiday but found the local bus service an ideal way to get around, both down to the coast (we enjoyed La Cala de Mijas) or to visit other locations inland. Finally, but by no means least, we want to highlight the wonderful service we received initially from Ian at booking stage and then from Maite (and Bill) for their warm and friendly welcome and the wealth of information and advice they provided during our stay.. Given this lovely apartment and this level of service we would have no hesitation in recommending Ian's apartment to others looking for high quality accommodation in a beautiful location - we look forward to another visit in the future.

We had a lovely week in Mijas. The location of the apartment is in a central, quiet area and has great views and we loved the rooftop pool. Overall a great week!

The apartment is an excellent, well equipped and well proportioned flat on the second floor with lovely views. The balcony has sun loungers as well as table and chairs so you can enjoy outside space. Bed really comfortable and fab powerful shower, kitchen has everything you need to cook a three course meal. 5 mins walk from the lovely town of Mijas Pueblo where there are bars, restaurants and shops in abundance. Great access to motorway for visits around the South. Brilliant holiday and a wonderful rest had by the both of us - thank you. Ian and Maite very helpful hosts.

This apartment is stylishly furnished and well equipped, the balcony is a great size very private with super views of mijas and the coast. It is very spacious inside with two large bathrooms one of which has just been completely renovated to a high standard, would definitely recommend and would return. The owners are very helpful and easy to contact and are well supported by Maite and Bill who welcome you and look after the apartment for the owners.

Ian’s apartment was very clean and tidy. He has all the kitchen equipment you would require on holiday. The rooms are generous in size. The balcony is excellent with spectacular views towards the coast. The roof top terrace and pool access is a real perk. Again offering great views. A dedicated parking space was ideal. His prior to arrival emails and instructions were very clear and straight forward. Great location, perfect holiday. Thanks Ian.

This was our 2nd stay at Ian's lovely apartment.Again we enjoyed every minute. The convenience of being able to walk into the village and forget about driving is a true bonus. Mijas, as ever, continues to charm.We'll be back.
