We just finished our 4 nights stay at homestead and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property is a beautiful, peaceful setting to enjoy the winery views, open space to go around for morning/evening walks. Accommodation itself is clean, cozy and comfortable. Bed linen and toiletries provided are of top quality. We loved the indoor fireplace and used it everyday 😊 Our dog Jimmy absolutely enjoyed all the space he had to run around and made friends with the owners dog Charlie. It was also fantastic to have a fenced backyard where we could leave our dog for short time to do non-dog friendly activities.
Not a big deal but back deck could use some refurbishing.

For what we wanted - a base for daytrips - the location was great. Great secure yard for our small pup......she loved it.
Heating in rooms where fire did not heat. We were conscious not to use the oil heaters too much

house wasn't clean spider webs dead flys and dirty floors also no doors fly screens ect
