Good location close to the centre of Le Pouliguen. Plenty of parking. Generally clean and comfortable although you have to climb into the shower which is in a bathtub.
I received an advice saying Booking.com had débited my crédit card followed by a message from the hotel telling me that the check-in time was 4 pm. 4 pm? Come on! I called them and was told they were busy and that was it. I asked them to try for 3 pm and they were completely unhelpful saying nothing could be guaranteed. Hôtels are taking more and more liberties but they should tell the staff to be a touch more sympathetic! As it was, we turned up at 3.15 pm and after a lot of moaning we got a room and were on time for a wedding at 4 pm.
Elsewhere, the outside swimming pool looks good but it is covered with a glass structure and the air temperature inside was nudging 30°. We asked at reception if they could open the roof and were told that only the technical team could do this. End of discussion. Another case of médiocre customer service.
