A three star hotel with a pool which gives it 4 star status.
Room size - Suite - very nice. Nice bathroom & separate loo
Small balcony which was ugly and balcony furniture poor quality No milk provided in bedroom - staff told me I could not have a jug of milk because the mini bar was not cold enough for milk overnight - I did it anyway and it was perfect. Tea was not replenished - I had to ask reception for more. No mugs / glasses in room - everything is 'for the environment' - so why are there paper cups, INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED IN PLASTIC provided? Mugs & Glasses would be better but then you have staff costs in cleaning. No toiletries in bathroom - apart from soap dispensers on walls - no hair conditioner, only a body / hair combination wash. Coffee provided with room service breakfast is old and cold and again, no milk (luckily I take it black!) No water provided in the room - a water fountain - one per floor - is provided - to be used with the tiny cups wrapped in plastic from your room - luckily I had a water bottle with me. Bar closes at 10pm - even in the height of season, on the weekend!

Good location close to the centre of Le Pouliguen. Plenty of parking. Generally clean and comfortable although you have to climb into the shower which is in a bathtub.
I received an advice saying Booking.com had débited my crédit card followed by a message from the hotel telling me that the check-in time was 4 pm. 4 pm? Come on! I called them and was told they were busy and that was it. I asked them to try for 3 pm and they were completely unhelpful saying nothing could be guaranteed. Hôtels are taking more and more liberties but they should tell the staff to be a touch more sympathetic! As it was, we turned up at 3.15 pm and after a lot of moaning we got a room and were on time for a wedding at 4 pm. Elsewhere, the outside swimming pool looks good but it is covered with a glass structure and the air temperature inside was nudging 30°. We asked at reception if they could open the roof and were told that only the technical team could do this. End of discussion. Another case of médiocre customer service.

Pleasant in some aspects, but let down in others.
Size of room, comfortable bed, all very clean.
Very poor service from bar staff. Croque monsieur orders all cooked on one side and frozen on the other side!!!. No room service and not permitted to take a drink from the bar up to our room !!

Position, near to town, Large car parking facilities. Friendliness of all the staff. Cleanliness of room and spaciousness. Enjoyed the pool. Evening meal was good .
