Apartments Canaria

Myself and friends stayed in two apartments at Villa Canaria, self-catering apartments. They have everything you need, based on a quiet road in a residential area. We were met by the owner Edvard at the airport, we had a late arrival, this was much appreciated. Apartments are tastefully and simply decorated, no fuss, but everything you need, which is what we liked! Apartment block was quiet and peaceful. One day, Edvard's mother surprised us with crepes and figs for our breakfast, lovely and unexpected. We had a towel and bed linen change half way through the holiday. A very welcoming and relaxing stay, would highly recommend.

Mosquitos!! Take plenty of repellent, they were rife!

Nära havet, tog bara några minuter. Bra med två sovrum i rymlig storlek Fina sängar och bra med garderober. Det fanns flera handdukar. "Aunt" var väldigt trevlig och gästvänlig Bra med egen uteplats och möjlighet att torka badkläder

Kunde varit lite mer städat i badrum och det var gammalt damm på lister. Vi saknade toapapper (fanns två rullar till 4 pers för 1 vecka) och vissa köksredskap och städprodukter saknades. Köket upplevdes lite trångt att laga mat i för 4 personer. Uteplatsen var härlig, men mörk/skuggig och buskarna växte in och tog lite för mycket plats.

Izvrsna lokacija. Plaža je vrlo blizu i nudi razne sadržaje. Vrlo blizu nalaze se i trgovine i restorani. Blizu je i crkva u kojoj se služi misa nedjeljom.

The building from the outside and the location are very nice. The room was clean, we had all necessary facilities. Nice big balcony.

Well. Everything seems great only that it wasnt. The moment we arrived something changed in our moods. The house is occupied on the daily basis by the owner and his parents. You can hear them and see them all day. Belowe our balcony on the 1st floor is a reception where the owner spends most of the day. Next to the balcony (literally 1-2m away) is a cute arbour where the parents spend their time. So forget about privacy, its their home so they behave and act like they are home, you are just a visitor who shall not enter their space nor use garden (this was comunicated to us upon the receipt of the keys very clearly ) Our room was next to parents flat. Also in spite of the fact that it was very nite and furniture was ok the room was not cosy. Everything is white and one wall has an intense blue colour. Double bed on composed of two single mattraces which is very uncomfortable for couples. Generally the room which looks ok at first seems to have a bad vibe, a wrong „feng shui” or simply is not dedicated to couples who are „feeling” the space.
