Definitely recommend

The room, common spaces and view from balcony were just great. 15 minutes away from the beach, 5 minutes away from the store and just 2 minutes from bus stop. The room was clean and comfortable, small kitchen had almost everything needed for a long stay. The breakfast was tasty and well- prepared. The family that owns the house was really nice and lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back.

The only thing to improve is to add shower gel and shampoo to the bathroom and kettle for the kitchen. It would have made our trip even more comfortable.

Lovely people, good view, good facilities

The facilities were very good. The bathroom was lovely and the bed very comfortable. We had a gorgeous view of the sea. The staff were also incredible! The owner came and carried my 30kg suitcase up two flights of stairs when I arrived and when I left he helped me carry it to the bus station. He was unbelievably kind. Him and his wife did not speak the best English but their young son would translate and they were all very generous and accommodating. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well as the owner saying “Bon appetita” every morning when he served us our breakfast

Very lovely stay

It was a very lovely and comfort stay. The view from the balcony was breathtaking! In the room we had everything, that we needed. Not far from all the restaurants, shops and the beaches. The hosts were very friendly and kind, even made for us a nice breakfast. It was a plus , that we could pay for the room by card and had extra blankets.

Perfect choice for your stay in Ksamil. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help. We really felt at home. It is only a short walk from the centre of town, in a very quiet area. Highly recommended.

Very clean and brand new property. It’s also quiet but still 10 minutes walk from everything. The owner and his family are lovely people and they do everything to make sure you’re comfortable and happy. They also serve breakfast and are very hospitable people.

If you have to work, the Internet can be spotty.

Property is managed by a family, they are very nice people, eager to help out with anything and provide a very good home-cooked breakfast. The terrace at the property is splendid, you can relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the resort and see the sunset.

A place to recommand

While visiting Ksamil was probably not the best decision during our road trip around Albania, in terms of accommodation we chose well. Joni Apartments is located on the outskirts of the town. It may be a bit far form the beach, but that is the price one have to pay for a bit of piece and quiet in otherwise noisy Ksamil. Good deal if you ask me. Our room was tidy and quite modern. Perfect size for two people. We visited Ksamil during a weekend, so the whole town was bouncing with music from just one music club until late hours, yet the soundproofing of the room really did a good job and after closing the balcony door we were able sleep like babies. The people running the place were absolutely lovely and easy to communicate with, their daughter speaks perfect English. The breakfast was nice and having an option to pay with a card was definitely a bonus. The last 100 meters of the road leading to the place is perhaps a bit steep but nothing challenging really. Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend Joni Apartments without hesitation

I can’t even quantify how this family made me feel. The room was clean! And apartment was walkable

That I could see the sunset just from my room. Also, I could see the mountains from different areas in the apartment. The host was great 😊 they made sure I was comfortable ❤️❤️❤️. I’m definitely going back there soon. It’s walking distance to restaurants, beaches, atms etc.

The studio was clean and big enough for two of us with great view. The bed was super comfortable. Owners were very nice and helpful. There is also small breakfast on the spot, which was basic but sufficient for us with good coffee (omelette, pancakes, toast and marmelade). The area is quiet so you can sleep with open windows.

There were some noise inside the room, probably from the water pump. Also would be nice to add some small light into the bedroom for the evenings.

The view is great, the hosts are nice peaple. The room was clean upon our arrival, in 7 nights they changed the bed and towels 3 times, the bathroom is nicely renovated. The breakfast is pretty big and very good. All the beaches in Ksamil are approximately 1 km away from the apartment so if you want to go to every single one the apartment is in the middle.

The final part of the road to the location is a bit uphill.

Cheap but not pleasant stay

The bed was ok an the bedroom had a small balcony.

The kitchen was old and smelled musty, however the stay was not pleasant at all because of the horrible smell in the bathroom, and the lack of hot water for showering. My partner and I used to shower together, and only once a day, but at any time in the morning or at night we couldn't take a shower with lukewarm water, I tried to go down to where the owners live, but I couldn't find anyone, so I had to boil water to shower. The apartment was cheap compared to others, but a normal price for Albania. So, I don't see any advantage in staying here.
