Spirit Hollow Retreat on 2.5acres . Fire pit, pool table, large deck

exactly what we were looking for. plenty of room to hang out and incredibly peaceful.

Beautiful setting back in the forest. Gravel road leading out to property, but nothing rough. Big home with lots of space, great front/back decks, very nice inside with good kitchen. Primary bed was a little saggy (especially on one side - don't sleep too close to the left edge) but overall quite comfortable. Air conditioning worked just fine, though combo of many window/portable units rather than central air made it a little tricky to get dialed in. Great to have garage parking and even (just barely!) fit my full-size truck. Close access to downtown, Shultz Pass trailhead and the Snowbowl area, but still nicely off the beaten path.

The property was clean, check in easy, and the host was responsive and helpful. Really nice kitchen and master suite. Sitting out on the deck amongst the trees was really relaxing.

We really enjoyed our family time at the Spirit Hollow Retreat — the cabin is tucked away in a peaceful setting and has a lot of great features like a pool table, arcade game, and modern appliances that made our stay fun and convenient. That said, I do feel the listing could be more accurate regarding the air conditioning. It’s advertised as air-conditioned, but there are only two portable A/C units upstairs and no cooling downstairs. There’s no central air, and we ended up needing to purchase extra fans to make it more comfortable. One of the upstairs bedrooms also had a broken ceiling fan, and the screen door was ripped, which made it hard to get airflow without letting bugs in.The deck area was another downside — it was quite dirty when we arrived, and some of the furniture was ripped. A portion of the deck was also broken, which raised safety concerns, especially with kids around. That being said, the host was truly awesome — super accommodating and easy to communicate with. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and that made a big difference. The check-in process was smooth, and the location was beautiful and quiet. Overall, we had a wonderful time. I just think the listing should be updated to better reflect the amenities and condition of the property to help future guests plan accordingly.
